I'm such a fan of these capstone DC hero books. I don't fit the age demographic at all for the novels but that doesn't stop me from loving them! This story proves the importance of Robin in Batman's life and shows the resourcefulness of Tim Drake.
Batman has been captured by The Riddler. As usual Nygma can't resist dropping hints to Batman's location . Robin is on the trail of each clue yet he feels like something is off every time he runs to a clue location.
As dawn comes closer Robin must use all his detective instincts to save the day.
This is a perfect read for kids who love superhero stories. The book also has some writing assignments at the end to prompt readers to explore the stories themes. A fun read!
#1, I will not give any clues away to the answer to the riddles, and it has nothing to do with the fact that I couldn't figure them out on my own. Ha.
When you have an amazing story, and you add the fact that you have to use your brain to enjoy it; well that's 100% in my book. You cannot get better than something that doesn't always come easy to you, and when you can share your own short-comings with your children, well that's just an amazing experience. My children enjoyed seeing me stumped, and that made the entire reading worth it.
Batman novels by Super DC Heroes are clean and wholesome. I never have to worry about what my child my hear and learn when reading these novels to him, they never disappoint and I am always able to say that justice prevails through every trial that the hero must face.
This book was super fun and fast to read. I really enjoyed it and the riddles were easy. Most of the time I can figure them out. I didn't want to put that book down.
