Reaffirms why I love this author.
I loved the Deadlocked series, and enjoyed The Widowsfield trilogy. I look forward to finishing Among the Masses, and have yet to start the Lincoln Pierce mysteries. This compilation of short stories is really cool. The second Body Farm story is a brutal yet appropriate conclusion to that short duology. The Racetrack is a shocking insight into the author's past, though it doesn't quite feel akin to the others in the collection. As for the Prey series, I really liked Prey No More, but Prey Again is clearly only half a tale that manages to divulge more details on the world and the relationships of the new characters without truly furthering the story.
