Are there dimensions of existence beyond the material world? If so, can we connect with loved ones who have passed, and with higher levels of consciousness than our own? Messages of Hope is the page-turning story of a former skeptic who has found the answers to these questions and more through evidential communication with the unseen realms.
When Commander Suzanne Giesemann, former U.S Navy commanding officer and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, walked the halls of the Pentagon and flew on Air Force One, she did everything by the book. A personal witness to the horrors of 9/11, she saw things in black and white, with little time for spiritual seeking. Never did she expect that a personal family tragedy would propel her on a mystical journey that would turn her life’s path in a most unexpected direction.
Follow Suzanne—now a practicing psychic-medium—as she moves from doubt and disbelief to full faith and trust in a reality beyond the physical senses. Laced with spirit-inspired poetry and compelling answers to many of life’s big questions, Suzanne’s remarkable story will leave readers with the comforting and credible message that this life is not all there is.
Suzanne Giesemann is the author of eleven books, a metaphysical teacher, and an evidential medium. She captivates audiences as she brings hope, healing, and comfort through her work. Suzanne’s gift of communication with those on the other side provides stunning evidence of life after death. Touted as “a breath of fresh air” with “a quality that is so different from others that it is difficult to describe,” she brings messages of hope and love that go straight to the heart.
Suzanne is a retired U.S. Navy Commander. She served as a commanding officer, as special assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations, and as Aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on 9/11. Today Suzanne addresses questions about the purpose of life, the nature of reality, and attuning to higher consciousness. Her work has been recognized as highly credible by afterlife researcher Dr. Gary Schwartz, Ph.D., and best-selling author Dr. Wayne Dyer. She serves on the executive council of Eternea, where she is the chairman of the Spirituality Leadership Council and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Academy for Spiritual and Consciousness Studies along with such notable leaders as Raymond Moody, M.D., Jean Houston, Ph.D., and Larry Dossey, M.D.
When Suzanne first began researching and writing the Hay House published book, The Priest and the Medium, she never dreamed that she would one day connect with the unseen world herself. After years of meditation, however, she began to have her own intuitive experiences, which led her to several classes on mediumship and to an intensive course at the respected Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Sciences in Stansted, England. Her eye-opening experiences there allowed her to develop her contact with the unseen world to the point where she now gives private readings, connecting people with their loved ones who have passed.
Her experiences with inspirational writing and inspired poetry are published daily on her blog, www.SanayaSays.com. The story of Suzanne’s transition from Navy Commander to her current work as an intuitive counselor is chronicled in her memoir, Messages of Hope, which is featured in a documentary by the same name. I was given this book from a parent of one of my students at the end of the school year. She simply said "I want you to have this; I think you need it more that I do. I think it will help you to find peace." I finally picked it up to read and so glad that I did. "Embrace your loved ones with your heart Even though they have moved on. You'll see them once again, please know, For they are not forever gone.
Just from your sight for now removed, But much aware they are of you. So walk this day with lighter steps For they walk with you, too."
Two years ago, when my husband passed on I became very interested in books regarding Spiritualism. I have read many and have begun taking classes about becoming a medium. This book was educational and reinforced all I know to be true. I will be recommending it to others and buying copies to give to friends who are grieving. I highly recommend Messages of Hope to all who think there is life after life, those who believe their loved ones who have passed on are just waiting for that reunion, just as you are. Those who need to believe that the messages they believe they are receiving are real gifts of love from those who have moved on to a better place. Any one who is skeptical about the here-after should read this book. It may change your thoughts forever.
In this genre, this is my all time favorite. It is a life-saver for those in grief, and an inspiration to all. This book has my highest recommendation.
Suzanne's journey is a remarkable story of how she 'came to believe' in the multi-layered dimensions of our Universe and the mighty, gentle and love-filled world of Spirit that is constantly with us. She tells her story in an honest voice that connects her genuine, benevolent and energetic nature to her audience in a natural and soulful manner. Her gifts are clearly meant to be shared as doors continue to open and Spirits messages become a daily occurrence and consistent reminder of her shifting beliefs and understanding of the unseen world. An undeniable portrayal of mediumship and pyschic work evolving for one individual with a sharp mind and wide-open heart. Suzanne's story is a sweet evolution of surrendering oneself to a higher purpose, and following intuition and synchronicities for this ultimate and divine adventure called life.
Many years ago I never would have dreamt of reading a book about mediumship, let alone think I would be impressed by it. But after hearing Suzanne Giesemann speak and learning about her personal journey and her integrity, I eagerly purchased "Messages of Hope" along with "Wolf's Message" and "Still Right Here". All the books are impressive. For readers unfamiliar with Suzanne Giesemann, I do recommend beginning with "Messages of Hope" because it starts at the beginning.
Suzanne had an impressive career as a former U.S. Navy Commander and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during 9/11. She also earned a Master's Degree in National Security Affairs and she taught political science at the U.S. Naval Academy. Her credentials are impeccable. She's a logical thinker and skeptical about believing anything without overwhelming evidence. As such, she never dreamt that one day she would be a respected medium, traveling worldwide to speak to huge audiences.
This book describes her journey to this new calling in her life - sparked by a tragedy causing the physical death of her beloved step-daughter, Susan. It is told with honesty and humility, reflecting all of her own self-doubts along the way. I have deep respect for this woman. I will read "Messages of Hope" again and again. I highly recommend this book.
Metaphysical books have always intrigued me. Out of body experiences always captured my attention. Going to seminars where someone channeled someone from the spirit world was one of my favorite things to do. The nurse in me craved to be able to talk to the spirit world. This book was a real page turner. If I had any doubts about an after life, this book proved there is. Several family members that crossed have contacted me in dreams. I had requested that, and they came through. My husband died a few months ago. I had asked him in the course of our 50 year marriage to try and send me things to verify he 'made it'. Over the next few weeks I received feathers in his room, and coins behind my car. plus many other items. The book was very informative. It cemented my belief of an after life and that the spirit lives on. I never really doubted it, but this book clinched it. This book is a must read for anyone that fears death, or needs proof that there is an afterlife. It helped me to go through a mourning period a little easier knowing he lives on, but in a different domain. We will see each other again.
This book is, for me, the most inspiring book about spirituality and daily that I have ever read. I have a very similar background to Suzanne in the sense of being very “left brain “ oriented. By background is science and medicine and for most of my life I looked to science and logic guiding me in my 35 years of Family Medicine. I now realize this is not what life is about. It has taken me 61 years, since 1963, when I was introduced to quantum physics in my first year chemistry class, to truly understand and know how God works his/her wonders on earth.
I wish that I had known this earlier but I believe that all of stories, mentioned have messages for us all. It is never too late ask for forgiveness or give forgiveness , knowing that the Divine, is listening always. We are all One Mind and therefore the fellow spirit mentioned in the meditation/prayer will know your intent.
I just finished this book (audio book read by Suzanne) and felt a pang of sadness as I reached the end. I did not want to part with Suzanne and her beautiful and loving energy. I loved reading all about how Suzanne became a medium from a totally agnostic and non spiritual background. I love how she demonstrated insatiable curiosity following the loss of her stepdaughter as she went on a profound quest to determine the meaning of life and to confirm to herself that there is life after our physical death. How amazing that she not only met mediums who could show this to her, but that she herself discovered she had tremendous gifts to communicate with non physical beings. I am inspired and uplifted by this book. Thank you Suzanne ❤️
This book was really different from other books written by mediums. This book was not about the messages she received the loved ones of others, although there are instances of that in here. It is about how (and why) she, the author herself, became a medium. A beautiful story, written with love, which keeps unfolding and growing even when you think there is no more to say. If you have an interest in metaphysics or mediumship, I highly recommend this book!
Full disclosure: I am a fan of medium/mystic Suzanne Giesemann. I believe she is the real deal. This easy-to-read book traces her journey from high-ranking Naval officer to practicing medium, including her time as a "baby medium" at Arthur Findlay College. She calls Arthur Findlay medium boot camp. I like this book because Suzanne is straightforward in telling what happened to her and how she found herself on this unlikely path. It makes me want to read more about her.
It is wonderful to find honesty, humility, an open mind and a loving heart in these words. Her struggles to believe her own value, the words that come theu her lips and pen are an example to us all of the ever presence of Love. Read it! Be comforted and inspired.
If you are interested in the metaphysical, this is an interesting learning how a person becomes a medium and their work. Suzanne Giesemann was a Navy Officer under the Joint Chief of Staff who tells her story of learning this world after the loss of a loved one.
This was a very interesting read about a medium. I've determined that I must now go to the Arthur Findlay School of Psychic Sciences in London, just like the author. Cause I want to be like her.
It must have been at least 40-50 decades ago when I finished an Enid Blyton novel in one day. Haha. I finished this in 2 days! Am impressed with the writing.
Fascinating! It is comforting to know that this life is not the end. I have a close friend that had a private reading with Suzanne. My friend does not know Suzanne. Suzanne revealed evidentiary facts that would have been impossible for her to find out about my friend's situation. I truly believe.
