I continue to absolutely love this series, with this volume being so so so wonderful!
I cannot get over how smitten these two are, especially Sena! When they went on their date, and we see two passersby's thoughts on how smitten he is, I could not help but agree because YES! I know I definitely was squealing a lot because of it!!
Truly, these two are so very wonderful, and I wish I could say more, but I worry I will go into spoilers?
I guess I COULD say that I LOVED the beginning because of a sports match in my shoujo?! YES PLEASE!! (Sena looked SO cool and could understand how Aoi felt!)
I also really like how Sena can see that Aoi is slowly working up to being able to say they are in a relationship! He's been SO supportive, and it deeply warms my heart to see, especially when Aoi shares later how she likes how she can be herself! We truly love to see it!
There were LOTS of very sweet kisses, and I couldn't help but get giddy over all the sweet, intimate moments!
EAGERLY looking forward to the next volume because I have no doubts I'm going to love it just as much as I've loved this volume AND the previous volumes!

The issue with doing the pedestrian well is that you run the risk of being pedestrian, even at your best. As much as I liked the last volume of this series, I have to admit that this one didn’t leave a big impact.
A lot of this volume covers traditional dating stumbles, with Aoi being apart from Sena for long stretches due to his basketball practice, and then the student populace getting wind of Sena having a girlfriend at all and the hunt for the truth of who it is.
I’m not saying this is bad. I still like Aoi a bunch, even if she is a little too down on herself still. She and Sena have a reasonably good relationship and they definitely don’t lack for physical affection.
The way they hide out in the stairwell to get a little time together feels like something a new couple would do. They have a particularly sweet date as well, though Aoi’s glow-up could probably be a touch more pronounced.
Aoi’s friends are still great at being there for her, and we’re still waiting for the next overboard declaration from Itsuki in his pursuit of Koto. It’s not like any of this isn’t working as a shojo story.
Still, it feels a bit less than last time. The ‘who are you dating’ gossip is a bit of a dull plotline, plus the resolution at the end where Sena stands up for Aoi feels utterly unbelievable and kind of corny. It’s part and parcel with the confession from last time, but it fell flat for me.
I guess it’s not that it’s doing anything wrong, but what it does right isn’t as good. It’s still mostly well written and charmingly old-school at times, but I just felt the lack of a little oomph to make it really stand out. Good main couple, but there’s very little friction of any sort and not enough charm to cover the gaps.
3.5 stars - I’ll round it up because I respect what it’s up to, but it’s very close to not getting it this time. Just a little more basic than I like from this and a touch dull.

Són moníssims i m'encanta que la noia mantingui la seva personalitat, cosa que no sempre passa en els shojo. La prota és tímida, insegura i li agrada passar desapercebuda, amb la qual cosa és un repte sortir amb el jugador de bàsquet més popular del seu curs, però són taaaan cuquis!!! ❤️ Aquesta sèrie és un retrat superentranyable del primer amor d'institut!!! En el seu dia vaig escriure: Últimament, l'algoritme de Twitter em mostra uns comptes que fan unes recomanacions de shojosei 100% ON POINT ♥ Aquesta sèrie és la típica història d'amor d'institut entre una noia molt introvertida i poc sociable que té un germà estrella del bàsquet i un any més gran ben popular. A més la mare és mangaka de shojo d'èxit i a la família són força cursis i romàntics, però la noia no viu bé estar a l'ombra de dues persones tan talentoses... El germà i un company de l'equip de bàsquet de la mateixa classe que la germana decideixen ajudar-la a tenir més confiança en ella mateixa i l'animen a buscar xicot (mmmm well...). Sorpresa, sorpresa apareixen feelings inesperadament Molt cuqui!!!

So much cuteness in this volume that I couldn't contain my giddiness. Aoi and Sena are the cutest and we get more development in this volume. Excited for the next volume.

4.5 stars. This volume was squee inducing, leg-kicking cuteness. They are so adorable together. This creator does such a good job at slow developments and beats in the romance, I'd be happy to have another volume just like this.

Ahhh I reread this and had to change my review… I love this series. I relate to Aoi, being shy with affection..especially in front of others. I love that Sena loves that only he gets to see that side of her.
