About the author

Dr. Walter Hepworth Lewis (June 26, 1930) is a Canadian ethnobotanist, who is an expert in finding plants in the tropical rain forest from many different tribal groups, which can possible heal cancer, diarrhea, and other diseases. He is also an expert on airborne and allergenic pollen.

rawr! fantastic book, goes far beyond the usual "smell lavendar to sleep" bit and gives explanations of diseases or body misfunctions that are treated or have traditionally been treated directly with plants. infinitely useful.

The only textbook I ever purchased a hardcopy of. A great reference text to have.
