Discover where it all began in the inspiring story of Stacey Solomon's life before becoming an Instagram cleaning sensation
From X Factor star to Queen of the Jungle, Stacey Solomon has never been far from our screens . . .
As a kid, Stacey always dreamed of becoming a star. But at 17, it looked like her dream was shattered when she unexpectedly became pregnant. Always the fighter, new single mum Stacey rallied, found a college with a crèche for her son Zachery and waitressed at night, determined that he should have the opportunities she didn't. And then the X Factor came along, where she stunned Britain with her astonishing voice. She went from hard-up single mum to X Factor favourite, Queen of the Jungle and much-loved TV presenter in just two years.
Stacey Solomon's My Story So Far is a fantastic and inspirational read by a modern-day heroine who always looks on the bright side of life.
I love how positive Stacey Solomon is and I love how much she appreciates everything. In some places the book was a bit repetitive, but it was a fun, if a little emotional at times, read.
I've never been a big fan of Stacey but this has made me like her. She covers everything from childhood to adult hood, and all in her cheery way. A nice light quick read for me, It helped me to relax after my exam week. A must read.
A great book such a lovely lady and so down to earth Love watching her on telly and reading this book makes you feel you know her Good luck in the future you deserve it.
I absolutely love this lady. The heart she has is so big for everyone who comes into her life. Really enjoyed this story as I didn't really know her until I read this book. Looking forward to reading many more.
An excellent and lovely read. Stacey comes across as so down to earth, normal, no diva attitudes. I could so easily be her friend, go out and have a good laugh with her.
Totally relatable so down to earth. She's just an ordinary girl living an amazing extra life. Follow your dreams be true to yourself and the sky's the limit
A fan of Stacey however realised I didn’t know much about her personal life. Saw the book was available discounted on Amazon to 99p so bought it to find out more. Wasn’t sure what to expect as didn’t know she had a book about her life but reading it I could hear Stacey’s voice in my head. Enjoyed and would recommend to any Stacey Solomon fans.
Gotta love her!! But seriously, you do: *not* to love Stacey Solomon says more about you than her: you're inauthentic, class-bound, a life-hater. But I would have coldly condemned the teenage Stacey: big, loud, exuberant, persistently and wilfully rebellious and annoyingly clever. Her story 'so far', i.e. including her victory on 'I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here!' and its aftermath, is a readable distillation of doubtless many thousand more words poured in an excitable torrent into the ears of ghost-writer Rebecca. Even a cynical arrogant middle-class oldster like me, light-years away from an Adidas-trackie-wearing garage-listening family-oriented Dagenham girly, was brought up short and made to think by some of Stacey's viewpoints and reflections. Confession time: yes, I was rooting for her to win the X-Factor and thought that, coming third, she was robbed; when I heard she was to take the jungle challenge I hoped she'd get through to the last few, and was delighted to see her a clear fearless winner from the get-go, lovely and lovable. Go Stacey!
Hmm...... I'm not really a fan of Stacey but felt like I wanted to read this, and I have changed my mind about her, I just thought she was another "celeb" but actually that isn't what she conveys in this book at all, she's just "the girl next door" type of girl, didn't set out to be come famous but wanted to sing, got to love her ambition, but I guess that comes with having a baby and wanting to provide for it, which is what any mum wants to do, I can imagine. To be honest; despite the fact I don't really like her, she kind of reminded me of me, when i'm in a good mood, i can be just as hyper and cheerful as she is. But, anyway, i'm not keen on celeb "autobiographies" but i've read this one and it wasn't too bad :)
I'm a fan of Stacey and thought she was brill from the minute she opened her mouth on the x factor she was so funny and has got an amazing voice. I really wanted her biography and i got it for christmas (in middle of January haha) from a friend and i could not wait to start reading it. I found it really interesting and funny and really enjoyed reading it :)
Bought for 50p at a car boot and thought I'd give it a go as I like Stacey. I don't blame her for writing it - she is just making money whilst she can - but she doesn't have anything to say that isn't already known from X Factor and I'm a Celeb. She is definitely not old enough for an autobiography. To sum her up she went to school, got pregnant young then became a reality tv star. The end.
I found it fascinating to read about where Stacey was in her life when she was catapulted to fame after applying to be on the X factor for the third time and getting on and making it to the final 3 . She has come so far and done so well for herself in so many ways . Beautiful family, beautiful home and a career doing what she loves .
