Nabbed #1

Nabbed!

Rate this book
Nabbed! That’s what they jokingly termed it when Big Nab McAlister and his gang preyed on the weaker lads in the prison and used them for rough and violent sex. Ten Years later, this horny big stud is a reformed married man, but he still has a temper that can easily flare up. The telephone engineers experience it when they turn up late for a job, and one of them had the audacity to give Nab some impertinence. Nab lets loose, but he’s taken by surprise when the guy fights back with martial arts skill. It’s the start of a train of event that will see Nab bound to the bed, and all the horrors that he used to inflict when in prison, now come back to haunt him.
“So who is getting Nabbed today?”
“Well that would be you, Mr. McAlister! You and your cherry ass!”
Warning: This book contains explicit gay m/m content and is suitable for readers 18 and above.

Jack Brighton is a British author who specialises in gay erotica with a BDSM slant. His books are widely available on all major e-book and specialist erotica sites, published by his company – Firm Hand Books.
Jack was born and raised in the west of Scotland then moved to the south of England after graduating from university, living first in London before moving to the sanity of Brighton.
Having forsaken the stress of working in London’s finance sector to become a full time author, Jack now spends much of his time on the small Mediterranean island of Gozo where he lives with his partner.
Jack also writes under the pen names:

Fergie Boy
Jack’s early erotica works were produced for a web site called Gay Boy Books, where he wrote under the name Fergie Boy. Subsequently this material was brought under the Firm Hand Books banner and is now available through the same channels as Jack’s later work. The stories are highly erotic but not specifically BDSM in nature – although in certain books like ‘Preparing the Way’ and ‘Spanked at Last’ the evolution into Jack Brighton can be seen. Fans of Jack’s work might find it interesting to see where he has his literary roots by checking out some of the Fergie Boy books.
Jack no longer writes under the Fergie Boy name. However, he does write under...

Tom Farrell
Having published over twenty books by mid 2011, and created a strong niche in the gay BDSM market, Jack decided to expand his reach once again. Not wishing to dilute the Jack Brighton body of work and perhaps confuse his loyal readers, or re-invoke Fergie Boy, a new pen name was created to write under. This was Tom Farrell.
Under the banner 'Flaming Hot', Tom Farrell's books fall into two categories: 'Flaming Hot Gay Erotica' and 'Flaming Hot Gay BDSM'. The distinction is hopefully very clear. Both collections are softer than Jack Brighton's normal work - the 'Erotica' collection much more so. But it is still Jack Brighton - his ideas and his style. So if you like Jack's books then why not check some of Tom Farrell's work out.

Not a fan. At all.

It was actually kind of boring. The concept for bk 2 actually sounds a lot better in comparison, since this one's pretty run-of-the-mill (or it seemed that way).

It was not so much hot as a hot mess.

I get that it was erotica, but still.

Starts out slow, but the story is an interesting fantasy of submission.

Revenge-themed stories and big, tall, muscular men rendered defenseless, especially by physically smaller men, excite me a great deal. This one certainly served me my favorite cup of tea.

What my mind would not accept in this short, however, was the motivation for the revenge (truth is, it was more of a brutal discipline than revenge). Any customer who would be given that kind of service, non-punctuality in this case, would most likely spat out an infuriated verbal charade characteristic of a complaining customer. Everyone's time is precious as you would all agree. Why then would a service utility guy like Barry retaliate in such unprofessional and devious manner? I get that Nab was hot-tempered and verbally infuriating, but it is a very common reaction from customers. And servicemen are meant to be apologetic and understanding when customer satisfaction is not met. This took too many words out for myself to get to my point. My point is the motivation for the barbaric act could have been played out differently - one in which I could really say "Nab just got fucking nabbed. Fuck yeah!" Not even the countless abominable rapes Nab did to prisoners (even with the thought of unjustly incarcerated men facing such vile) could, in my mind, give justification to the horror Nab dealt with.

I did like the sheer humiliation Nab experienced through his inner monologue if I'm being honest. Also, Nab's terrifying realization that getting fucked creates fireworks explosion to his senses was pure delight. And, the ending... excellent!

Brilliant story where the hunky bully gets what he deserves. Love him or hate him - Nab is a great character, especially if you're into big hunky men. He's married and supposedly a straight guy, but he fucked weaker men when he was in prison where his behaviour was acceptable. Years later the tables are turned when Nab tries to bully a man who can handle himself. Events lead to Nab getting raped, and he is forced to confront all his socially ingrained demons and supressed sexuality. The sex is hot - but the interaction between the two men as Nab is confronted with his past, is even hotter.
Would love to see a follow up as the book lends itself to a sequel. And also a prequel - Nab the early days - when Nab was in prison.

I liked this one because it doesn't matter what size you or how big you think you are of a man. There is always someone to put you in your place and that's what happened to Nab!!!
He thought by treating people like they don't matter or they ain't even a person that it's okay...na I don't think so!!! So when the workmen are arriving at the last minute to his house he lets rip at them but what he doesn't think is that one of the workmen won't take his shit and gives him a taste of his own medicine....he will become the one getting NABBED!!!

On Amazon this title is called Nabbed not Rabbed...
