THEIR FATHERS RULED THE EAST END IN THE SIXTIES. NOW THEY INHERIT THE LEGACYThe O'Donnell family ran their manor in the East End with a fist of iron, keeping control of their gambling, prostitution and protection rackets. Now Eileen O'Donnell is out of prison and her sons Luke and Brendan are running the show. It ought to be time for some peace and quiet. Instead, the trouble is only just beginning...
Brilliant and the complete opposite to the poorly written, 'The Skull Beneath The Skin'. A brilliant tale with well written twists, not to far from the story lines linear path.
Turns out you don't need to read the first book to read this one. Everything still makes perfect sense. I would still like to read the first book as it will seem like background history for this one. There were a few unexpected twists that were delightful and shocking. I love a good Brit crime story.
