This book was good. It is very engaging and is realistic for someone who plays tennis.
I read this book to learn about the mental side of tennis, so that I can get better at it. This content was meant for me to understand the mental game, so that I win more matches. This book was repetitive, and not really 50 strategies, but the ideas it gives are still good. It was very engaging, which was not something that I expected. Some ideas shown in the text are very relatable as well. As a tennis player, I have encountered many circumstances that are shown throughout this book.
One big concept I took from this was too not force anything. If you try to control everything you will just tense up and not play good. Instead, swing freely and trust your training.
I would recommend tennis players of all levels to read this book, due to how it is very relatable and very informative.
Awesome read for any competitive tennis player that is looking to overcome that tight feeling in the big moments in matches. Jeff sets you up to ditch that feeling, zoom out, and experience tennis in a way that is both way more fun and results in much better play. I've already implemented several of the tips into my game, and seen nearly immediate results.
Short precise chapters. Good reminders of how to be both mentally and physically ready on and off the court. A lot of these items I already put into practice. Could remember to have fun. Slow my serve. Visualize a game plan and shots to manifest. Breathe.

Awesome easy read. Really amazed as a professional volleyball player how I could literally relate to every chapter in this book and use it to help me in the future
One of the better tennis books out there. Approachable lessons and tips you can immediately apply to your game upon opening the book and reading a few chapters. I appreciate the authors approach to tennis and the ease in which he explains he tenets of his philosophy over the course of 50 brief lessons.
This is the updated modern version of The Inner Game of Tennis from the 70's. This author is easier to read and his points come across clearly and precisely. He gives tips on how to play better. How to see the ball, visualize your game etc.
Best book about the mental aspect of the game I've ever read. You can improve your game without hitting a ball if you commit to changing your thinking patterns.
I recommend this to anyone who is *serious* about improving their game.
