The core murder mystery plot is good (though not entirely unpredictable) but is let down by a poor narrative style and half-baked characters. At one point, I was like, get on with the plot already!! The ending was well written, though, and the book, in general, is a fast read.

Kirit Panwala’s “Theory of Suspicion” presents a profound exploration of suspicion as a ubiquitous and essential element within the human experience. The author meticulously dissects a vast array of perspectives on suspicion, skillfully interweaving historical, sociological, and psychological influences to create a comprehensive framework for understanding this complex emotion. Panwala's richly layered character development enhances the novel's authenticity.

Ethan's doubts, fears, and weaknesses make him relatable, capturing the essence of the human experience. The diverse range of supporting characters, each with their own motivations and hidden agendas, adds depth and complexity to the storyline.

As Ethan delves deeper into the conspiracy, Panwala skillfully strengthens the plot's complexity, never failing to surprise readers at each twist and turn. The author's ability to maintain suspense and build tension throughout the narrative is a testament to his remarkable skill as a writer. It leaves readers eagerly turning the pages, yearning to unravel the truth as much as the protagonist himself. Moreover, the author skillfully elucidates how suspicion permeates literature, often becoming an integral part of a narrative's fabric. He thoughtfully examines the mechanisms through which suspicion can drive wedge-like divisions among people, distancing us from empathy and understanding. However, his analysis does not end in despair. One of the most fascinating aspects of Panwala's work is his examination of suspicion in the context of societal divisions and prejudice.

While Panwala's "Theory of Suspicion" is undoubtedly thought-provoking and enlightening, it occasionally succumbs to an excessive reliance on philosophical jargon, potentially alienating readers seeking a more accessible exploration of the subject matter. Despite this minor shortcoming, the overall impact of this work is monumental, providing readers with an invaluable understanding of suspicion's pervasive influence on the human experience.

"Theory of Suspicion" is not a book that simply informs; it propels readers on a personal journey of reflection and self-discovery. Through the author's astute observations and thought-provoking analogies, we are compelled to question our own inclinations towards suspicion. Panwala invites us to confront our biases, confront the shadows within ourselves, and ultimately strive for a world built on trust and understanding.

Congratulations to the author Rohan Panwala and co-author Kirit Panwala for writing a wonderful book which will not only keep you hooked till the last page, but also force you towards deep thinking. Though the discussion of the story line in such a book where many surprises are waiting after turning the pages , I personally don't like. As it destroys the author's effort and spoiler is never a great experience for me. However the storyline set against the backdrop of Surat, where Judge Raj Deshmukh finds himself at the twilight of his illustrious career, the narrative begins with the inception of the groundbreaking "Theory of Suspicion." This theory challenges the conventional burden of proving guilt beyond reasonable doubt, introducing a tantalizing premise that immediately captures the reader's imagination.
Rest you have to discover.

The author's through this story beautifully venture into the realms of legal complexities and human psyche, it raises profound questions about the nature of truth, suspicion, and the dark consequences that lie beneath the surface. The moral dilemmas faced by the characters add depth and nuance to the storytelling, making it more than just a crime thriller but a thoughtful exploration of human motivations and weaknesses.

This novel is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a riveting legal thriller that pushes the boundaries of suspicion and uncovers the chilling truths that lie beneath the facade of power and influence.
