This is the fourth in the Martini’s and Chocolate Book club series and is a delightful little book. atruegemawardThe series is geared around a group of ladies who form a book club to read erotica and discuss it over martinis and chocolate. Most, but not all of the women are in either a Dom/sub or menage relationship or both. Each book is a standalone, with the common thread of the book club tying them together.
When Tori Cordell finally has the opportunity to introduce her new boyfriend to her friends in the book club, she learns Ian has been keeping something from her- he is active in the local BDSM Club, where he is known as the Devil Dom. For his part, Ian didn’t know if Tori was submissive or not, but he was so attracted he was willing to try to give up that part of his life to be with her. After a lot of discussion, Tori says she wants to explore the lifestyle and they give it a go.
But Ian is a detective on the trail of a serial rapist-and the rapist now has Tori in his sights. Can Ian keep Tori safe from the dangers of the lifestyle and his job?
Most of the book is dedicated to blistering hot scenes between Ian and Tori as they explore BDSM, including spanking, flogging, bondage, and wax play. But it weaves in and out of a good plot with likeable characters and enough suspense to keep the reader turning the pages to see the outcome. Ian is yummy, and Tori is smart, strong, and capable. They are people you would really like to know and I was sorry when the book ended. I will be looking for more from this author.

I just love this series and liked Tori and Ian's story. I especially liked that Tori was an author and that both she and Ian were a little older (mid 30's) and more sensible.
The only thing I didn't like was I figured out who the bad guy was right away.
As always, it was nice to see past characters. I guess Lisa and Conner's story is last and I can't wait to read it.
