Future Memory

Rate this book
There are many different paths to the future.

According to P.M.H. Atwater, one of the foremost investigators into near-death experiences, future memory allows people to "live" life in advance and remember the experience in detail when something triggers that memory.

Atwater explains the unifying, and permanent, effect of that experience is a brain a "brain shift" which she believes "may be at the very core of existence itself." In Future Memory, Atwater shows that structural and chemical changes are occurring in our brains, changes indicative of higher evolutionary development.

This mind-blowing exploration of a mind-blowing topic traces her findings about this phenomenon and explores its implications for the individual and for society.

Future

Provides a series of steps to assist in developing future memory Explores new models of time, existence, and consciousness Presents an in-depth study of the brain shift and how it can be experienced Offers an extensive appendix and resource manual

I dig the subject and I was rooting for this book but it is so horribly put together it becomes useless.

It's like unto those 'True Ghost Stories' books; all anecdotes and little substance.

I had fun with this one. The author had so many ideas that she put out that it took me three years to read. Not because it was hard to read but because each chapter had new ideas and concepts that put my mind to wander and pondering the implications. Recommend it if you are interested in unconventional ideas and a different look at how science and the universe interact.

Rings True

So much information here, connects to other realizations thru books about matter, manifestations, and the nature of the universe. Can't put it down!

A classic book on the plasticity of time and the phenomenon of precognition. Contains a lot of great information and theories that you won't find in other books, and her personal anecdotes really makes everything come alive. It may feel a little "uneven" in the sense that she moves away from the memoir-aspects and just heavily digs into theory about 2/3rds in. However, definitely worth it if you're interested in the subject matter and are looking for something you haven't read a billion times before.

This really DOES change and explain A LOT! Almost EVERYTHING! Not so fond of the Christian overlay, but when I rewrite those parts and a few others that are too "new-agey," the rest works so well. Wishing I'd read this 15 years ago, but here we are!

The author shares many mind-blowing experiences that will really make you think about how things really work. She gives a technique to develop future memory, and she talks about creative manifesting in a way that anybody can use. Fascinating book.
