The Chief Sinners Objects of the Choicest Mercies

Rate this book
Stephen Charnock (1628-1680) was a Presbyterian Puritan minister in Ireland and London. His best known work is his monumental "The Existence and Attributes of God," but his shorter works are just as valuable. This is a series of three sermons on 1 Timothy 1:15, "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." In these sermons Charnock develops his theme that the greatest of sinners are the objects of the choicest of mercies.A warm introduction to one of the finest Puritan writers. Contains an active table of contents and clear formatting. Latin and Greek quotations are included with translation into English.Recommended.

Excellent book for needy awakened Sinners

This is an awesome book for those who long for the Grace of God and the forgiveness of Great Sins. This book strongly encourages all to come to the altar of Christ. No matter how Dark the Stain. His Blood will make you more white than snow.
