Amazing authentic traditional recipes

This entire cookbook has recipes that were passed down from family traditional recipes. Each picture was original and raw without any special lighting or editing, which gives it a closeness and familiarity to home style cooking.

A lot of the recipes in this book was shared with my culture back when Columbus was exploring different islands. We used the major ingredients and altered it with our own traditional flavors and seasonings. Jamaicans most famous dish is Beef Patties, in my culture we make Pastelillos (Empenadas).

Reading this book reminded me of my grandmother and how she taught me how to cook Boriqua foods. Currently, I have passed her traditional recipes to my kids and friends to keep the tradition going for future generations.
