It is a book I would recommend if you are completely clueless about writing proposals.

A reasonable starting point for novice proposal writers. Very focused towards the needs of a business proposal. A number of points I disagree with, although those are likely due to my role in working on academic grant proposals and a more detailed education (& level of experience) in project management. Supplementary materials are very helpful as is their heavy reliance on checklists in completing the RFP process.
