I got this book because I had a great excuse to go on a ghost hunt for a university class. It's written from a scientific type paranormal viewpoint which is what you want (think TAPS and how they aren't keen on psychics). His writing style is quite easy. Some things are explained better than others, but this is supposed to be a beginners book. I wish there were some better suggestions as to how to find a group to go with or if any of the paranormal groups are willing to work with students or trainees and how to approach an established group.
This was a good, informative read. I've been interested in the paranormal for a long time, and I like to read about it. I know that I don't plan on doing any ghost hunting anytime soon, but this book gave some pretty good advice. I really enjoyed it!
Great information for not my beginners but also for writers.i am currently using it for research for a horro story that I am currently working on. Great information.
