Understand the importance and meaning of your life’s journey here on Earth—with the guidance and perspective of the souls in the hereafter. For nearly fifty years and more than thirty-five thousand sessions, George Anderson, widely considered the world’s greatest living medium, has listened to those who have crossed to the other side. He has bridged the worlds of the here and the hereafter by communicating messages of hope from loved ones who have passed on, in order to help bring peace to those who continue on earth. But the souls can offer so much more than proof that there is something beyond this world. They can offer answers and practical advice about issues we struggle with our finances, relationships, personal matters, and questions of faith. Having lived through the struggles we now face, they can also assure us that life’s problems are not random; they happen to each of us as part of a greater purpose and plan. Ask George Anderson shares the most common questions clients ask and reveals the illuminating answers that the souls have provided on issues and concerns of our everyday life here on earth. They are invaluable lessons that will enrich all our lives because they’re imparted from a profound and rare that of the souls who have already lived it and learned from it.
Well worth reading. The book is made up of questions and answers, which makes that you sometimes read the same thing twice, but that's understandable. It was emotional to read at times, but also interesting and heart-warming. As George Anderson says: faith is a funny thing.
For the uninitiated, George Anderson is widely considered the world's greatest living medium. At the age of six, after contracting chicken pox, Mr. Anderson developed a nearly fatal case of encephalomyelitis, a swelling of the brain which damaged his cerebrum and rendered him unable to walk. Within three months, he made a complete physical recovery, but permanent brain chemistry changes made him a "perfect receiver" for high-frequency communications from another dimension. Mr. Anderson began seeing visions and receiving messages from souls who had crossed over to the "other side." For nearly fifty years and thirty-five thousand sessions, Mr. Anderson has been delivering messages of hope to those who have lost loved ones.
I have read many of George Anderson's books, including Walking in the Garden of Souls, Lessons from the Light, and We Don't Die. I have also had the privilege of having several private sessions with Mr. Anderson, the results of which have been substantially transformative. This new book is delivered with the confidence of a senior statesman in a controversial field that has come of age in recent decades, by a gifted individual with unparalleled experience and wisdom in his area of expertise, who has nothing to prove, who only wishes to lovingly share the inspiration he has gained from the special role he has been given.
I encourage readers to explore this book (and Mr. Anderson's other books), with open minds and hearts. This man knows what he is talking about.
Mostly good. Mr Anderson seemed to say the same thing over and over again on a number of his answers to questions. But, still extremely uplifting and is a must read. I still have questions. George? Give me a call, okay?
I love George Anderson. His book is a great question and answer book, that asks all the things we are afraid to discuss. Without sentimentality, Anderson clearly answers questions about the hereafter and can bring peace to anyone who believes it.
You will either 1. With open heart (ouch) and inquiring mind, that IS you and read the book...like it's an not a Herculean task. 2. You'll shake you head, smirk and vocalize in your lonely kingdom, that sadisistic, contemt prior to investigation dastardly in training ha-HA! SNICKER,"hee-hee--hee-hee hiss Snidely Whiplass's Canine Minyon. So there it goes and such...Wait, 3. You will just surf on and forget You've even pursued it. There ya go...done babbl'in... Carry on...."MOVE ON!
Views about the nature of the afterlife by mediums have been studied scientifically, or at least systematically, for about 200 years, as far as I am aware, beginning with the survey of mediums by French investigator Allan Kardec in the middle of the 19th century. Most such surveys and studies don't find the extreme contrasts of an eternally rewarding heaven and an eternally punishing hell that is reported by most religions. Instead they report something like a range of spirits, from benevolent to malevolent in equally varied afterlife settings. The author of this book, George Anderson, takes a different and rarely reported perspective, which is that all the souls he contacts, as well as the afterlife itself, are uniformly pleasant and he also assumes that afterlife spirits are uniformly honest. In other words, there are no hells nor any unpleasant experiences in the afterlife, no matter how cruel, selfish or destructive an individual's earthly life. I have no issue with the author's one-to-one work with clients - he has been tested scientifically and comes out well from that. However, the author makes little effort to discuss the possible moral consequences of his wider perspective if he is wrong. For example, some might take his perspective to imply that they can behave as selfishly as they like in this life as all will be well in the afterlife. Given that so few people share his perspective, I suggest that the author look much more deeply into alternative views and open his mind to the possibility that he may just be wrong about this.
If you know me you know my family is no stranger to grief. My grandma gave me this book to read and said she thinks I’d really like it and she was right.
From the beginning of this memoir style little book I was hooked. From his initial backstory of finding his gift to the stories he tells practicing it. If you believe in any type of afterlife, medium, spirits this is a great book to bridge those worlds for you
