ZooAllergy ~ A Fun Story About Allergy & Asthma Triggers was in my classroom library. It is a cute story about two children that both have allergies and they visit the zoo and look for allergery triggers. This give children with or without allergies or asthma an idea what it means to have these health issues.

The visit to the doctor for allergy tests where the nurse let the child see the tray with the test equipment and then kept it a positive experience. He was also looking forward to a visit to the zoo after his appointment and his mom surptised him by inviting one of his friends. They made a game of identifying allegy triggers and talked about them so if the chidlren listening to the story didn't understand, it was explained. Great book to increase knowledge, vocabulary and learn to accept children with health issues. The illustrations were appropriate, cute and the children liked them.
