Suffice it to say that this one did not grab me like some of the other books in the series. It definitely does not speak to behavior I want kids to mimic —- copycat. Not that I have a suggestion, but there has to be a better way of introducing Cc words, while simultaneously telling a short and cute story. Here is another Cc word that comes to mind after reading this book: cringeworthy.

This book is great for reviewing the letter C! I highly recommend the "AlphaTales" collection while you make your way the ABC's! Lots of fun practice with the letter C, it's sounds and words that begin with C!

My daughter's class has been reading these to learn the alphabet letters and sounds. She loves reading and re-reading them again and again.
