Popcorn is about a cat with relationship issues. Although no surprises, it was well written and enticed me to want to read more from the author.
This leads me to the bonus story. The Boat - Zombie Survivors was a small sample of another of Chris's books. It is about a zombie apocalypse where the safest place for survival is on a boat. Based on what I've read here, I would download the full book. The author does well fleshing out his characters and this is a great teaser for the full story.

This is one evil cat. I never liked cats all that before, but now I am a little creeped out.
