Ring is an English Duke captured by traders. Ali is a Grand Sultan’s son who is . allowed one male toy. There are strict rules, of course, and some things are forbidden. The most forbidden thing of all is love. This is Book One of the story of Ring and Ali.
I think the concept of this book is completely wrong from the perspective of the plot. In Islam this type of physical relationships is considered haram, forbidden, banned. I understand this book is completely fictional, however it would have been fair from a historical point of view to base the book on factual truths that are valid at the time. If the book had been titled, „The Cesar‘s Toy“, it would have been much more accurate. The Roman’s infamous relationships with both men and women are legendary and have inspired many literary works.
A story of kidnapping and forced love that all too soon Ring realizes that he just might love Ali. Ring a playboy Duke, has been trapped in a stupor for months it seems. Being trained to hold his orgasm and trained in the language of love without being "harmed or touched" in certain ways that will ruin him for his new master. Only when coming face to face with the handsome Ali. Does Ring want to leave fully or is he really scared to love a man and not a woman....
Ring is an English duke captured by traders intent upon making their fortunes by selling him to Ali, a Grand Sultan's son. Men of Ali's line are allowed one male "toy" so long as their relationship is confined to adult games. There are strict rules, of course, and some things are forbidden. The most forbidden thing of all is love.
what did I think of it: five stars Booktubea thon: read 7 books. this was to be my 7th book but I want to read it now first off I want to say that while its a short read its only 60 pages its a great start to a LGBTGay Romance series. you meet Ring who is an English duck how is captured and sold to Ali an Grand Sultan's son, and it goes from there, a romance story about a captured who fulls for the one that bought him. go check it out and see what you think.
I am sure I read the second book already. So I jumped to it to read how the two main characters had gotten together in the first place. It was all a bit wishy washy that Rain was dancing at a ball and finds himself weeks later tied and naked on a ship being tortured by a man who tells him he has been trained to be his new master's toy. What happened in between, how he was taken from a ball and how his training had taken place on board of a ship was only referred to in talk. Seems to be insta feelings between master and toy, as we learn early on that it is not good to cheat the Sultan's son but yet Rain can back talk and deny without getting punished. Really?
PWP. Well I think there was an intended plot but this story was a whole lot of messy set up that never went any further so nothing happened and everything seemed random. Definitely a skip
