I'm a former TV news anchor who know writes fiction for a living. I publish collections of sweet, sassy romantic short stories called Flirts! Bell Bridge books is publishing my Willowdale Romance Series. No Foolin' debuts November 25, 2012.
This collection of novellas is related to finding love in the workplace. They follow characters in their 20s who work together and their journey to finding love. The characters are all different with different experiences. I found the stories to be fun, swoon-worthy and hilarious at times. The collection is very romance centered and keeps you hooked. They are not heavy and very much chick lit rom-coms!
My individual ratings: Office Prank 4/5 Employee Benefits 5/5 The Right Man For The Job 5/5 (my favorite!) The temp 4.5/5 Who's the boss 5/5
If you are in a reading slump or need a quick lighthearted read that will keep you invested 'til the end, I recommend any of Lisa Scott's collections. :) If you generally don't like shorts, I recommend sampling Lisa's writing first.
**Although each of the 5 stories can be read and purchased as standalones I personally enjoy them more when I read all 5 of them back to back because the stories and characters are interconnected in some way.**
