Part-Time Lover is Kevin J Taylor's heartwrenching tale of an amazingly resilient and courageous young woman named Jill. She lives in New York City and is desperately trying to make ends meet when she discovers that she has immense sexual power over men, and uses that power for her financial gain. It is a gritty, realistic account of someone finding strength in her weakest hour.
After losing 3 crummy jobs in 4 months and being hopelessly late on her rent payments, she is truly in dire straits when she is about to lose yet another job at a clothing store after a jealous female store manager catches her soliciting the owner's son in the stock room.
During this tumultuous period, she discovers that all men become hopelessly aroused by her mere presence. They are almost primal in their behavior toward her. She loves this power and realizes she can make the big/easy money having sex with a lot of well endowed men; and does so, often taking two or more of them at the same time. Along the way in her new found career, one of her clients named Chad falls desperately in love with her. After an extensive week long romp together, he asks her to marry him. She gleefully accepts only after he produces a huge and very expensive diamond engagement ring.
But now our heroine is torn between her rich fiancée and her blossoming career. He is a well to do stock broker. He tells her that he knows how they met and he knows how she makes her money, but because they are now engaged "she doesn't have to do any of THAT anymore". He wants her to quit and be faithful to him from here on out. Jill tells him "okay" but she cleverly never actually promises him that she would stop.
Jill realizes that men love giving her things but she has finally found something she enjoys doing while earning huge sums of money at the same time. Her career was something she could control and call her own. At the risk breaking his heart, Jill decides to continue her business servicing men while Chad was away during the day at work. Except, that her career soon goes beyond that, and has her missing significant time at home with her man.
After exceeding the expectations of a couple of rich, well hung college boys she quickly commands big fees after the boys enthusiastically spread the word amongst their well connected and well to do friends on campus. On a typical day during this period she has upwards of 30 voice mail messages from potential clients with requests for her services. She has become so popular that only certain clients who "measure up" could qualify for repeat appointments.
Soon Jill is knee deep in business and after reuniting with her friend and super freaky high school partymate Jaleira aka "Girl" (Taylor's teenage nympho from his excellent Body Heat series); her sexual exploits reach a new level of depravity and financial gain.
Jill decides that there are too many men out there that she has to "sample" and to top it off, most of them were willing to pay her to do it. Plus, life as a married monogamous woman would be too boring and just not for her. After nearly getting caught and repeatedly deceiving her fiancée she finally decides to end her infidelities to him and hastily mails Chad a very short and casually written "Dear John" letter along with the diamond engagement ring she accepted from him. While her heartbreaking "parcel" to Chad is still en route postally, she and "Girl" decide to fly off to Europe together (first stop Rome) to avoid the messiness of Chad's predictable emotional breakdown. The two angels depart, ready to break hearts in another continent and engage in brand new sexual conquests with the promise of an even bigger pay-day along the way!!!
There is a tremendous amount of graphic, hardcore sex in this novel that many might find over the top and offensive. Jill is a size queen who rarely has one on one sex and frequently engages in gangbangs, blowbangs, and anal sex with her tricks and fuck buddies. The men are all ridiculously well endowed and are almost cartoonish and vile in their behavior, but I felt all of it was actually quite necessary to fully understand the motivations of the characters involved and it never felt contrived. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line and was totally captivated by our wonderful heroine, Jill; a truly heroic and powerful woman who realizes she must be true to herself before she can find happiness in this world (even if it means hurting others along the way).
Beautifully drawn and expertly told, Part-Time Lover is a story begging to be brought to the big screen (Kelly Divine as Jill??). I hope to someday read about her European exploits with her adorable friend "Girl". May they live happily every after!

Adult Full-Color graphic novel.
This book is about a young woman named Jill. Jill narrates the story through the method of an "audio" diary.
Jill just moved out of her parent's home a couple of months ago and needs some money to pay her bills but is having trouble keeping jobs.
The story starts with Jill waking up with three men after getting drunk at a bar. She tries to disengage, succeeds and leaves to try to arrive at her job on time but she is already late. She slips into some skin tight semi-transparent clothing without adding underwear to her ensemble and heads off to her clothing store job.
In her get-up, Jill makes a lot of sales at the store, but knows that she is going to get fired. While Jill is in the break room, the store owner's son enters and oops, out pops his huge penis. While they are having some fun the manager looks in, is shocked, and leaves. After the "fun" is over, the kid gives Jill some money (oh, and that "fun" has made certain sections on the waist of Jill's tights completely transparent). Despite selling a lot of merchandise, Jill is told that she will be let go at the end of the week.
While attempting to set some sales records Jill is approached by some men that want to know how to "get" with her. She tells them to pay her. They don't want to do that and leave. Two other men overhear and wander up and ask how much and then offer $1000.
Jill isn't certain if she really wants to "rent" herself and has to think about it. She thinks about it after work when she goes to the bar with a female friend. She decides to do it. She goes to the address the men gave her and the men show up, and lead her into a dark alley to a dirty mattress. They end up being rather huge, give Jill a lot of pleasure, and then give her $2000. Jill's new career begins (or continues after being paid by the store owner's son). The story continues for another 38 or so pages. Jill: "I actually look forward to going to "work"."
Overall, the book is very well-drawn, the plot isn't anything much, and the artwork is quite good.

Some nice painted artwork by Kevin Taylor but the story justs keeps looping around to the same thing over and over. Jill works several low paying jobs and struggles to make ends meet, but suddenly realizes she has the ability to make men hopelessly aroused by her mere presence. Monetizing her body for other men leads to a newfound sexual awakening for Jill. It's fun for the first several pages or so, but quickly wears then when the book starts to go in circles. Not that the story is meant to be deep or anything - we all know what this is - but a little less tedium and perhaps some moments of introspection could have been nice.
