There is a plot to kill the President.A plot so convoluted, so sick and twisted, it will rock the world. The Presidents Nemesis. They will stop himif they can.

A man has crazy dreams, in fact he believes he’s going crazy.
This tale did not hold me, I had to force myself to finish it. I made a New Years resolution not to buy too many books until I had actually read the hundred I have sitting on my kindle. This is Number One. Ninety-nine to go.
A sick, complex plot to kill the President is the subject of this book.
I really wanted to like this but I found it hard going, the plot is laborious, slow going and confusing. It’s a shame really, because the outline of the plot promised so much but it just wasn’t for me sadly.
I feel odd about not giving this book a rating, but I don't feel that I should because I abandoned this book.
And I really, really, don't like doing that, the same as I dislike not finishing a series or not reading a series in order. (And that's not just because I have OCD like tendencies.)
It's just so slow. And I mean really slow. I had to push myself from almost the beginning. And I don't even have anything really negative to say about how it was written. It's a multi POV book, though most of it(that I read) is in the main character's POV, Stanley Johnson. His characteristics are pretty normal, the most interesting one being his suspicion, and some of his views on things.
I also never reached a part in the book where the various characters really connected.
It's just one of those books you know? I might even pick it back up one day and give it another shot, but it won't be anytime soon.
Had a difficult time putting this one down..... a governmental conspiracy during a presidential campaign and an environmental lab with questionable ties to the President both play havoc in the life of a widower who is facing hallucinations. What do all of these have in common? Keeps the reader guessing till the very end!
I think the plot was there, it was just a very slow read. sometimes when a good plot becomes a slow read for me I find it's because I'm too busy in daily life, but I just couldn't keep the interest going here. I hate giving a book two stars, but I can't do much more than that. keep writing and get to it all a little quicker.
