An interesting look at a popular movie from my childhood. Usually, I try to put reality aside and just try to enjoy a movie (though it drives me nuts when they get very basic military aspects screwed up), but this really does make the reader think about aspects of the film and wonder about why they chose to do some things the way they did. I think the author may be taking some things a bit far about some things, but I cannot fault his reasoning. All in all, a thought provoking read.
