Will give you a totally different perspective on what cheating is - and how damaging an emotional affair can be. With social media, it's easier than ever to make connections that can threaten your primary relationship. This is a great book for recognizing inappropriate connections and - most importantly - repairing any damage that's been done.

Packed full of great info

This was an amazing book. I read the entire thing in less than 24 hours and took 24 pages of hand written notes from the book in order to strengthen my relationship after an episode where I was the unfaithful person. This book taunt me how to forgive myself and be able to move on, and hopefully win back my partner's love and trust.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who finds themselves in a situation of unfaithfulness, no matter which side you're on. You'll be glad you read it.

I just finished "Chatting or Cheating", and the words that come to mind are "Wow, that was incredibly well done!" It's a totally comprehensive book, taking you from the stage of just suspecting, all the way through to healing on the other end. It shows you how to gather the evidence, how to confront your partner, how to deal with the after effects of discovery, how to get over it, and how to heal your relationship and make it even stronger than before. It even has information for the one who cheated, telling them what they need to do to get over it, and the role they play in the healing process. I read books for a living, and I can tell you that this one was just done perfectly. It's easy to read - from the friendly informality of the text to the pleasing and accessible layout, and it covers everything you need to know. As far as recommendations go, if you're in the market for a book about anything having to do with infidelity, this is the book for you.

Chatting or Cheating impressed me on a number of levels. It covered very deep subjects in a way that was both accessible and easy to read. I’ve read quite a bit on the subject of infidelity, yet I found plenty of information in Chatting or Cheating that was new, and ideas that were interesting and fresh. And I really appreciated all the practical tools and exercises that were given; things people could do immediately to help whatever situation they are in. However what I appreciated most, and what eventually drove me to write this review, was how expertly Dr. Meyers covered every necessary aspect of dealing with infidelity, and did with such great insight and depth. When I first read the summary on the back cover, my thought was “she promises the world!” and now my thought on completion of the book is “she delivers!”

This book is really good! :) It is easy to read, easy to understand. It helps whether you are the cheater, the cheated, or just want to improve your relationship. This book explains the chemistry of the brain and what is happening when you think you are falling in LOVE. It also explains why one might cheat. But more importantly, it can help you understand yourself, your partner, and help the both of you to love each other.
