Wonderful blend of science, history, biography and storytelling.
Lot of names and places to keep track of, especially for listening, but not a big problem.
After all, it was, literally, a global project. I gradually sorted out who was on first, and
the principal players were so vividly drawn that I perked up when favorites returned to the scene,
as if they were old friends returned from a long voyage. Which they were!
I look forward to reading more of Wulf's books.
Robin Sachs was a very good narrator, with a voice easy to settle into. I missed it for a few days afterwards, so much so that I needed to delay starting another audio book.
