My very first suspenseful, mystery read in forever, and I don’t regret choosing Firefly. Even before reaching the ending, I already felt so good about it. The bad reviews I’d previously seen didn’t turn me away. If anything, they drew me in deeper and held me there until the very last chapter.

This story follows the life of an ordinary guy named Benjamin Frederickson. He’s stuck in his apartment, doing web design jobs, living a quiet, predictable life. Until one day, a series of twists and turns takes him on a flight to Paris with a woman he barely knows.

From that moment on, Ben’s life is no longer ordinary. Hidden truths begin to surface. In a foreign country, two people connected to him are kidnapped, and money is suddenly in the picture. A lot of money.

Is Ben being saved by this mysterious woman, or slowly trapped in her world of organized crime? Remember, there are millions of dollars at stake. Anything could be possible.

Honestly, this book deserves a tight grip in your hands. No matter how unrealistic some scenes may feel, it’s still worth the read because it keeps your mind turning, questioning who the real villain is.

In the middle of your reading, you’ll find yourself struck and confused by a troublemaker couple. Your thoughts will keep shifting with every action they take, never quite sure if what you’re seeing is generosity… or a carefully crafted scam. And quietly woven through it all, you don’t want to miss the beauty of Paris, captured so neatly it almost feels like you’re walking its streets.

It's an intriguing story with great settings and lots of twists and turns, but a few plot twists feel unrealistic. The main protagonist seems to willing to accept a relationship with glaring red flags warning him not to trust anyone.

Dreadful. Awful plot, full of holes and factual errors, plus typos. Don't waste your time with this one.
