Step-by-step instructions and easy-to-follow patterns enable aspiring young artists to draw all types of dinosaurs, including a tyranosaurus, a brontosaurus, and an exotic triceratops
The book has simple instructions for youngsters, so that dino fanatics can easily create their favorite dinos following the step-by-step drawing instructions. The book, however, does not have very much color in it, making it look a bit dull. (Reading Rainbow book)
For anyone who likes dinosaurs and is also learning to draw, this is the ideal book. There is a brief explanation on the first two pages, and from there the reader is shown/taught how to draw 13 different dinosaurs with simple lines and shapes on their own paper. Under each step is shown the shape or line to add to the image. Included are: dimetrodon; brachiosaurus; stegosaurus; kentrosaurus (very much like stegosaurus); brontosaurus; ornitholestes; iguanodon; pteranodon (a type of flying reptile); ichthyosaurus (a type of swimming reptile); triceratops; styracosautus and moniclonius - both nearly identical to triceratops; tyrannosaurus rex.
This was the prefect book for me when i was a kid. I love to draw and I was very intrested in dinosaurs. At one point in my life I knew all the names of the dinosaurs by heart.
