Good book Overall, the author does. Great job of breaking down the benefits of using a vibration plate She uses lots of research and explains how stone studies are good and others were not The main thing that I learned from this book was to use single motor plates that vibrate vertically I had already bought a plate that vibrates side to side, but I was able to adjust this by standing on my plate side ways, causing my meditation on my plate to feel a lot better I recommend this book and this product for people who like rebounding and want to take it to the next level
This was an interesting book and very informative as to comparisons of machines, what to watch for in contraindications, and ultimately how one should feel if using nutritional supplements and regular exercise with WBV! I think I’m ready to evolve to the vertical whole body vibration unit.
A complete guide to the vibration World of exercise
This book is filled with references to allow the reader to further investigate the view point of the author. There are many exercises explained and a good starting point to try it out.
I enjoyed reading about the many health benefits of WBV. According to research, vibration can help with chronic illness, pain management, and bone health, among other things. The only negative for me was the "sales pitch" for the author's own product.
There is very little true science behind this book. Much of what is written is very anecdotal. I was disappointed for that reason. Her advice about what to look for in a vibration machine is helpful. I actually own one and was looking for studies and facts to support their usage. I am glad I only paid $2.99 for it on kindle, because even at that price I felt a little shorted. I got just as much information for free on the internet.
