Its been awhile since I have read a good Sherlock Holmes story. I really enjoyed this one. The author's narrative is very close to the original stories. Even the mystery was fun and interesting. Most times, I usually have the mystery solved during the first chapters, but not with this story, I was kept in the dark until Holmes revealed the murderer at the end. I'm looking forward to reading more of Steve Ehrman's Holmes stories soon.

A thoroughly enjoyable story!

I very much enjoyed this book. It may be my favorite of Mr. Ehrman's Sherlock Holmes novellas.
An excellent mystery in addition to staying true to the traditional A.C.D. style. If you're a Sherlock fan I recommend you give this a try.
