No other hero is as swoon-worthy as Bobby Stewart! Ahhh...

What a beautiful romance between two amazing main characters!

At first I was not going to rank this as high as I did because it just seemed so silly at times. But, then when I read Cecile’s story, I just couldn’t help the tears that fell and the heartbreak that came for her. She’s hurting BAD! Real BAD! And, her husband’s the one at fault. The mean bastard that he is wears on her with all his criticisms and demeaning actions. So much so that she’s just so down in the dumps. When Bobby comes to the rescue, though, he gives her hope and confidence. He makes her see her self-worth. He makes her strong again. Like I said, Bobby Stewart is all southern charm. He’s confident and larger than life. He makes everyone that he’s around feel good. With his smile and happy-go-lucky personality, you can’t help but love the guy. And, that’s exactly what Ceelee needs. Just to feel good!! Now, granted, Bobby’s life is not all perfection as the reader soon finds out, but he’s just the ray of sunshine to Ceelee’s stormy clouds.

I read this one straight through. And, couldn’t get enough of their story. There’s two other installments that are written before this one. Why I read this one first, I guess the title just reeled me in...lol!!! Oh, and the beautiful specimen on the cover was an attention-getter all in itself!! So couldn’t help but love this Texan gentlemen and his lovely lady.

Bobby Does Dallas is book three in the Hill Country Hears Series, and it goes back even before book one to tie together the whole series. We get to see a lot of the situations from the first two books from both Bobby and Cecile’s points of view. It is a great way of bringing all the stories together.

Bobby has it all he is the star football player and a championship bull rider. I mean as a Texas boy what more could you ask for?? Oh yeah the endless women throwing themselves at him.. The endless meaningless hookups are starting to just be stale, but all that changes when he runs into this sexy woman on the side of the road. Who would have thought wrecking your truck would lead you to your soul mate??

The night Cecile hits the end of her limits with her ass of a husband and asks for a divorce she runs into Bobby in the woods leading up to his home/bed n breakfast. They share an amazing kiss, but she runs off thinking she would never see him again. When she comes back to the B&B for her best friend Annalise’s wedding, she is shock to be greeted at the door by “her Bobby”.

Bobby is one persistent man!! He has to not only talk Ceelee into giving them a chance. He also has to convince her that their age differences don’t matter. Ceelee has so many issues left over from her marriage, but can Bobby convince her that the things her ex filled her brain with are not true?? And can he convince her that they could have more than a couple weeks fling??

I absolutely loved this book and series!! I love how we got to see the parts of the other stories from their points of view. I really like that Ceelee is an older woman (if you can call 30 old.. YIKES … I hope not). I love the man that Bobby is!! He truly fights for Ceelee!! This is a great read!!! Hope y’all enjoy it as much as I have!!!

Another 5 stars for Sable Hunter's Bobby Does Dallas!!! Bobby is an alpha hero in every sense of the word. He may be young in age but he definitely makes up for it in height, built, emotional maturity and intelligence. Seeing Bobby and Ceelee finally achieve their happy ending is a definite TOUCHDOWN! Great addition to The Hill Country series!

More Sexy Sweetness in Hill Country

Bobby Stewart is the perfect book boyfriend. He's handsome, tall, strong, athletic, romantic, devoted, loyal, and very skilled at mattress mambo. He rides bulls, plays professional football player, and is dedicated to his family. His one almost-flaw is that he used to be a frequent come-and-go customer - wink, wink! But that's in his past as soon as he meets Celine.

I loved this take on the older woman/younger man trope. Celine's backstory broke my heart and watching her heal was a joy.

Overall, a terrific wrap-up of the series. Can't wait to read more from this author.

A Bit Histrionic

Though I was looking forward to this after the rest of the series, parts were extremely overwrought. Histrionic, may be a better word. It's not the believability overall, it's that the contrasts make no sense. The hero's deep secrets aren't really touched upon, while the heroine's past us almost the full focus of every plot point.

Bobby Does Dallas is the third book in the Hill County Heart series by Sable Hunter. While I do not feel it is necessary to have read the first two, because this story actually starts before Book 1 and runs alongside Book Two at points and I was really intrigued by what I was reading about the other characters, I did put it down temporarily to read Book One and re-read Book Two. While I loved how this story did start before the others and it was great to get another character’s perspective of the first two books, at times it felt a bit repetitive.

Lately it seems like a lot of my story choices have involved insecure heroes or heroines whose self-esteem and confidence levels have been torn to shreds by those closest to them. This story was no different. For an older woman, Cecile was a bit on the naïve side but this can be blamed fully on her ex. He transferred his feelings of inadequacy over to her in an effort to make himself feel better about his “shortcomings” (pun intended!).

Bobby is the perfect hero, a young stud with an extremely bright future before him. He was a pivotal force in Cecile’s life. He was patient, tender and seemed to make it his mission in life to build Cecile back up and make her feel good about herself. He did have skeletons in his closet that attempted to come back and haunt him but the way he handled himself during these trying times really reflected what a strong, incredible man he really was.

The only setback I had with the story was that towards the end I felt like I was in a major time warp. Perhaps I just somehow skipped over an extremely relevant portion of the story somewhere along the way but I was under the impression we were still back in the time period where the main story took place only to blink and realize it was about a year later. While I was able to reorient myself to the story again in a short time, I did feel a significant portion of the story was missing.

All in all, despite the time warp, I greatly enjoyed this third book in the Hill Country Heart series and Ms. Hunter has definitely made her way on to my auto buy list.

Sable Hunter writes great Love Stories with a twist!

Sable's books always have more going on than just romance. Her characters are always bigger than life, she does make them believable by showing you their heart. They all have things that make them vulnerable, things that hold them back in the romance department many times. If you read about perfect men and women all of the time the stories would be boring, but Sables always have a twist to them. She always has some type of mystery or suspense to her books. Bobby Does Dallas has a female character whose husband has left her feeling like she should give up on finding love that she is frigid in the bedroom department. Then there is her age factor when it comes to Bobby. She is very vulnerable. Even after she is swept off her feet, it doesn't take much for those old doubts to come rushing back and since Bobby doesn't read minds, he doesn't always understand.
The past books on the other brothers lives if you have read them, you'll find snippets of their stories involved in this book, which only adds to the fun. There are nice reminders of the other brothers obstacles they had to go through to find and keep love. I loved the book, the book has a LOT of SPICE! Some people might be uncomfortable with it. I am not usually but some times with Sable's books, I get into the story and the characters so much that when things start steaming up I almost feel as if I am watching/reading something I shouldn't! That's a good thing!

This is the 3rd book in the Hill Country Heart Series, and it is what I would call a “Parallel Book” to the first two books. It is an interesting concept and works well, as this book ties together the total story of the Stewart Brothers and their Lady Loves. It is a much more developed story than the others. This time Bobby Stewart takes center stage, and like his two older brothers, he is one of the good guys. Gosh, he even prayers for his loved ones.
The relationship between the Football Star/Rodeo Champion, Bobby, and the older, Erotic Romance Editor, Cecile Fairchild, actually begins prior to Lise coming to the Bed & Breakfast. This book takes you through the time frame of their initial meeting, through Lise and Ethan's reunion, then the marriages of both Ethan and Alex, to life after graduation for Bobby.
This book deals with typical issues of the older woman, younger man scenario. There is also the classical misunderstanding between the lovers that results in their separation. Then it ends with the lovers finally reuniting. There is a twist or two along the way, but nothing too surprising. Though, I really am not sure I understood or even thought possible the reason the doctor gave Cecile with regards to her sexual issues with her ex-husband. I am not a gynecologist, so what do I know! I sure can tell you, there are no issues between Bobby and Cecile in the bedroom!
Over-all Rating 3.75.

This is the third installment in the Hill Country Heart series by Sable Hunter. When I started reading it, I said “wait a minute, this isn’t what I knew from the second book - Scarlet Fever. As I was reading, I said “oh that makes sense.” This is a great story. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. Bobby Stewart is the third brother to get his story and what a story it is. He has everything a woman would want: a hot bod, hot cowboy (bull rider) and he is a football player - the trifecta. He met Cecile on a stormy night and fell hard for her only knowing her first name but is heart wanted more. Cecile “Ceelee” Fairchild is Annalise’s publisher and married to a man that faults her for all their problems. When this older woman meets the young Bobby, she had know idea the man she meet was the youngest of the three brothers. When they finally got together, it was explosive. Cecile didn’t know she was a responsive woman until she met up with Bobby. He rocked her world. When obstacles get in their way, we hope they can find their way back to each other and when they do, it’s awesome. Age is a state of mind. If you have love in mind, then age don’t matter. I love Sable’s work and can’t wait for more. She puts so much emotion into her stories, you feel like you are there with them trying to help out. I would high recommend you get this series.

Bobby Does Dallas is the third book in the Hill Country Heart series and it is definitely a winner. Bobby is the youngest of the Stewart brothers, he is a champion bull rider and a football star. Bobby is a big man for his age, sexy, handsome, smart and alpha male all the way. On his way home from running errands, his truck breaks down and Cecile Fairchild stops to offer her assistance, by running after Mojo, his brothers dog, who escaped from the truck. Up until that moment Bobby thought he had it all, thought his life couldn't get any better, but Ceelee changed that. Bobby might be young but he knows what he wants and he sets out to get her, even though he doesn't know her last name. What he doesn't know is that Ceelee is a broken lady, her soon to be ex, Carl, has really done a number on her and she is lacking self confidence in spades. And to top it off Ceelee has a big problem with the age difference between her and Bobby, something that doesn't bother him at all, after all it's just a number. Needless to say Bobby has his work cut out for him, but he's not worried.
I highly recommend this book, another touchdown for Sable Hunter.

I really liked this book as it wrapped up the stories of all three brothers. This series starts with Unchained Melody then moves to Scarlet Fever and Concludes with Bobby Does Dallas. I thought that Bobby was an awesome hero and I really liked Ceelee. I like the fact that Bobby is humble and sweet considering his background and his popularity.
