In God Unlimited Norman Grubb delves into ultimate reality--"the extreme, the absolute, the revelation...that there is only One Person in the universe, and that is God Himself." From this startling conclusion Norman proceeds to the true nature of man and his sole function, God's two-fold redemption to rescue and restore His fallen creation, spontaneous living in the fourth dimension, and the privilege of membership in priesthood of the redeemed, through whom God continues His intercessory work on behalf of His creation.Mr. Grubb's desire was that this book "would appeal to persons of all walks of life, to the lowest and then to the most intellectual, to the Biblical scholar and also to the scientist, simple and yet to the depths of the Spirit." He builds God Unlimited on the sure foundation of "not God first but God only."
I thought the first few chapters were excellent. The later chapters are things that have been covered by others and probably better. Still it was a good read all in all. Good material.
It was just about a week or 2 ago that God brought me to teaching from Norman P Grubb. I have been walking with God since 1986, and if you have been walking with God for a bit you know the ups and downs. The highs are over the top, and the lows are the lowest of lows. Over the years I have been around a lot of Christians and various meetings and people come and go year in and year out continuing to search. Other people seem satisfied to just live a so called Christian life thinking they are going to Heaven someday but trying live their best life now according to the world's standards. Personally I have been frustrated with both sides of that coin and thinking there must be more to the Christian life for a long time now. I believe Norman Grubb discovered the answer that many desperately need so read his books.
