CLAUDIA'S CONFLICTEnchanting Claudia Taverer had not lost her heart to the man she wed, she had lost a game of cards. She had wagered her hand in marriage against a fortune that her family desperately needed, and aristocratic Lindsay Allister had won her as the wife he needed.Claudia kept her, bargain, and so did Lindsay. His marriage vow was that he would not make her make love, and he did not. But what neither of them bargained for was Lindsay's devilishly handsome cousin and wicked rival, Andrew Stoner, the Earl of Strait. What the irresistible Earl wanted, the Earl usually got - if only he could convince the intelligent Claudia she'd be luckier in love than in cards ....
The H is a cheater like all the others Hs from the author and he cheated almost until the end. And he didn't kill the OM in the duel but any Hs don't kill the OM in a duel over the hs, but they always kill others in a duel over the OWs. You can see the hs doesn't matter at all, only the OWs. I don't know the authors hate the heroines and love cheaters Hs or the readers are to blame for liking to see sufferings hs and cheaters Hs. Most of the romances that I read, the only ones that are suffering physically and emotionally in almost all the books are the hs by the hands of the Hs, OW and others. But the OWs are always scott-frees and the Hs never lay a hand on them unless to have pleasure even he they saw the evil deeds that they did while the hs they blame for even a small slip and the things that they are innocent. Maybe this H is not alwful like many of the H but still a cheater.
