Excellent!
I have read these 3 books before & they are the reason why I love to read paranormal romance.
Dark Prince - should be called "Dark King" as Mikhail is more like a King than a Prince as his people not only try to protect him but follow his orders. But, he finally found someone who for want to follow his orders; he found his lifemate, Raven, she can talk to him in his mind like he & his people can.
Dark Desire - is about Mikhail's brother Jacques & his lifemate, Shea, as they connected with each other over great distances. Jacques had been captured by the bad guys & with the help of a "betrayer" or as we now know a vampire. & the vampire in this book winds up being related to Shea, as the vampire is her biological father.
The 1st 2 book happen in the Carpathian Mountains & the 3rd book happens in the USA; specifically in the San Francisco area.
Dark Gold - is about Aidan who we met in Dark Desire. Aidan meets his lifemate, Alexandria, when she was trying to protect her little brother, Joshua from the vampire who took them & but her a couple of times & also fed her his icky blood. Aidan thought that she had been turned into a vampiress & was going to harm Joshua. Joshua stopped Aidan from harming his sister but not before he finished drinking from her & giving her his blood & starting the conversion.
I'm only telling you a little about each book because you should get this book or get them individually to read for yourself. But, this series is excellent.

I had never heard of this author but found her on Fantastic Fiction looking for a new series to start....I have finished Dark Prince and working on the second book and I ABSOLUTELY love this book and the series will be a favorite. If you like the Fever Series you will LOVE LOVE LOVE this series. The detail in the books are so phenomenal that I literally can't put the book down. I started reading Dark Prince at 6am Sunday morning and read until 11PM when I had to force myself to go to bed.

The Best of the Best
There was nothing to dislike of this series of books. I initially read them as separate novels and was very much intrigued. I have always enjoyed Feehan's style of writing which is so intriguing and commanding.

Primo romanzo: Attrazione fatale.
Solo per amanti del genere (rosa con ambientazione sovrannaturale lievemente horror).
Questo rappresenta il primo romanzo di genere romantico che abbia mai letto (neanche sapevo esistesse un ricco sotto filone sovrannaturale). Non saprei quindi compararlo ad altri romanzi simili.
Il romanzo è fornito di numerose parti sentimentali/erotiche. Benché il sesso sia molto dettagliato, la descrizione non scade mai nel volgare. Ho trovato però queste parti decisamente noiose.
Uno dei principali difetti del romanzo è di essere fortemente stereotipato, con un uomo affascinante e potente che intreccia una relazione per la vita con una ragazza fragile ma coraggiosa e generosa. I personaggi hanno al massimo livello tutte le caratteristiche di genere che ci si potrebbe aspettare. Il lato sovrannaturale è usato per giustificare ed enfatizzare queste caratteristiche (lui è potente perché capo vampiro, lei isolata e fragile per le controindicazioni dei suoi poteri psichici, la relazione è per la vita perché la loro razza speciale si accoppia solo così, il sesso è animalesco con lui che cerca di trattenere la belva che ha in se).
La trama per il resto è un po' ridotta e non decolla.
Secondo romanzo: Desiderio.
Meglio del primo. Non male l'interazione iniziale fra i due protagonisti, anche se va un po' troppo per le lunghe. Il contrasto con l'antagonista riprende molto fedelmente quello già visto nel primo romanzo.
Terzo romanzo
Mantiene il livello del secondo. Sia il secondo che il terzo introducono qualche elemento di trama più interessante, e riducono la parte erotica.
Posso dirmi contento di aver raggiunto la fine!
Resta il dubbio se come per i primi tre, ad ogni successivo romanzo ci sia il tentativo di piazzare uno dei “vampiri” (carpaziani per essere precisi). Comunque penso che non cercherò di scoprirlo.

Mi aspettavo una cosa un po' più movimentata, alcuni racconti erano meglio di altri, ma ho fatto veramente fatica a portarli a termine.
