A simple novel, a pure story, somewhat influenced by foreign writers who were moody at that time. The adult Terzakis sets up timeless scenes that seem to compose the treaty of the time between the First and Second Worlds. This first one, written in 1932, was written at that time and made a need to talk about the era and not about it. But he is conscious, he hears the effervescence, the inflamed wave. Somewhere is mentioned in a cover for the remedies that Germany denied. Only in 1932 was not only Germany that was smoking, but in each country there was a guerrilla, different, and somehow blind, activity. Still, it is a Terzak who seems to be silencing himself, putting a cutter at some point, fearing to touch the whole range of his thoughts, lexing them to get bones. Not yet. And yet, through a simple story, the climate of an era follows that which Xenopoulos defines in the War and Present Time, perhaps even in the Night of degeneration.
It is the time when the first case of an offense with the Lindberger's baby and the loneliness that has been perpetuated for years is the era of blind anger that followed a meaningless war to sink into another meaningless war in response.
And in ours is the time that followed the woman's extortionist conditions that fared perfectly in time through Price and Money. The woman is already crying for what she is entitled to. It is the only match that makes sense, everyone else seems to have no substance.
Together we meet the writer's need not to let anything fall down. Still does not give the interpretation, it does not outline it completely
