EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, how to release your self defeating thoughts into a new freedom emotionally. You can use these techniques for yourself, anytime and anywhere.
In this eBook, you will find the original and most effective way to use both the official protocols of EFT as a self-help tool, as developed by Gary Craig (the founder of EFT) and an EFT approach to your problems, as further developed by Gabriëlle Rutten (a former medical doctor who now uses only EFT to help her clients).
This book contains insights into the underlying emotional causes of over 200 physical and mental symptoms, with a detailed action plan you can use to target your issues. It can also be used as a reference book by EFT professionals.
In these pages, you will learn simple but powerful ways that can set you free to once again, or perhaps for the first time, experience peace, joy and happiness.
Firstly just to say how sad it was to hear of Gary Craig's passing. Gary helped millions of people through his generosity and brilliance. I started reading about EFT in the mid 2000's and applied it to my own issues including overcoming a 40 year old smoking habit as well as fear of public speaking and other issues. I would much prefer it were the book titled something like 'Geerd Ryke Hamer's German New Medicine and EFT' rather than being 'Official EFT'. Whilst I have no doubt that EFT can serve as a useful adjunct to this and other approaches to healing I don't believe that German New Medicine should be an official part of EFT, Partly this is because EFT, in my opinion, is a successful stand alone therapy that is flexible enough to be creatively applied to a vast number of mental, emotional and physical problems. As such it's too broad to be linked to any one healing approach. My other reason is that I believe German New Medicine to be wrong when it comes to the idea that all diseases are caused through trauma and shock. There are hereditary diseases that aren't the result of traumatic experience such as Huntingdon's chorea, also there many diseases which are the product of life style regarding diet, exercise, smoking, drinking etc, all of which can be approached through the use of EFT. Some of these patterns will be related to shock and trauma but not all, many are related to upbringing and culture German New Medicine may have a certain amount of truth to it, my view is that it over extends itself with it's claim that all diseases are the result of trauma or shock. I wasn't always impressed with the clarity and specificity of the instructional material, for example the discussion on important areas of technique like paying attention to aspects was vague, there was no discussion of the distinction between types of aspects i.e. sensory, emotional, beliefs and other cognitive aspects. There are other EFT books that I prefer such as 'The Healing Power of EFT' by David Feinstein, Donna Eden and Gary Craig and Valerie and Paul Lynch's 'Emotional Healing in Minutes', true they don't contain anything about Optimal EFT but one can always go to Gary Craig's Palace of Possibilities site for this or purchase Official EFT as it has an excellent chapter on Optimal EFT.
