When Morgan Taylor is gang-raped by a group of soldiers, she thinks it’s as bad as it gets. But that’s before the terrifying aftermath sends her on a quest to discover the truth before it destroys her.
This is a great story with a very interesting subject. RAPE.. in this case not just rape, but gang rape and date rape. This is a chance to maybe see a different angle than you usually see in newspapers. VERY GRAPHIC , you won't soon forget this one. RECOMMEND
You go out and have a few drinks meet a soldier hit it off gget wine and a room nice right? Wrong you pass out don't remember nothing you might of been raped you find out you was you think your being followed are you going mad or not great storyline
I liked where this headed and what happened but it kinda bored me, yeah she gets raped which is terrible but I felt like what came out in the end just took to long to happen.
One hot night with a soldier was something Morgan Taylor will not remember. When she woke up, the housekeeper mentioned something about a wild party….with soliders? What did they do to her? Then it all becomes painfully clear.
The reader observes the trauma of a young woman battling her shame and wanting to forget that awful night. Then it veers toward Morgan’s obsession of tying her friend’s murder to the gang rape. And round and round it goes. It turns out there was some army conspiracy cover-up. I found this all to be a bit blasé.
The story was really short, which was fine. But I couldn't really connect the characters. The plot wasn't bad. However, the entire story felt rushed...like the author just wanted to get the story over with. I feel like the story had potential but overall failed to attain it.
About a woman who was gang raped in a hotel after drinking at a bar with a soldier. Story came out he wasn't involved but a woman who liked him had it done for revenge.
