A singularity unpleasant read where, within the first 30 pages, we have already managed to tick off fatphobia, body shaming of "too skinny, halfway anorexic girls", miscarriages, alcoholism due to said miscarriages and extremely toxic behaviour from everyone involved, but from our main lead most of all. We can also, in this delightful red-flag-bingo of a book tick off cheating as well as misogyny and an absolute refusal to communicate. The 90s were truly a wild time!
