New Adult Author of the All Series, book one Be All released July 2013. Other tiles in the series are, All is Lost, All This Time, Worth it All, Risking All, All We Are and My All. My short story, No Details, can be found in the Novel Grounds All Our Love anthology. It will become a full-length novel in 2015. I am the mom of two beautiful & intelligent daughters; Kaitie and Kayla, who both married Kyle's. I married my best friend, the most loving man that I’ve ever met, Barry. He supports me and encourages everyone of my wild dreams no matter how neurotic. I have two g'son, WD & RJ, who sweetly call me Lola (because that's what I want them to call me). I am a proud Italian-American, living in Alabama. Barry & I have a real passion for travelling via car, and we have visited over half the country in our eleven years together. I adore reading and Japanese food. When I actually do turn on the television, I must play catch-up with my overloaded DVR. My top faves are Game of Thrones, Persons of Interest, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, Walking Dead, and recently I've added StarCross & the 100 to the lineup. I love Facebook, but hate to overload the news feed with posts about me, so you’ll see more shares than original posts, unless they are about my books. I have a blog, but I suck at updating it. I hope to find time to connect and use it as an outlet for my insane ramblings, but don't count on it. If you love my books, please follow my fan page Marie Wathen Author. I will do my best to keep you updated on where my books are as well as sharing teasers. Thanks for all the love!

OMG...

Seriously...mouth dropped, gasping in SHOCK at All IS LOST!! All is LOST...OMG!!! I can't give away too much in this review, because there are so many twists and turns in events, that will leave you gripping the seat, begging for me. You will say "NOOOO" in shock by the end. I know I did!! I'm so curious to see how it all ties together, and I can't wait for more of this series.

Breesan and Marcus WOWED me...their connection is the gut wrenching kind that people dream about. Their emotion for each other is raw, intense, just complete utter passion. They love whole-heartedly.

Morgan, still annoyed me. His sense of entitlement is over the top. But, he does sincerely care for Breesan, and Waverly as well.

Marie writes with such description, I always feel like I am watching the events in her books, unfold right before my very eyes. All is Lost is RAW, INTENSE, SEXY, POWERFUL, SCARY, PASSIONATE AND EXCITING. This series just keeps getting better and better, and I'm not exactly even sure how, considering BE ALL was amazing to begin with!! I wish the rating system went up to 10 stars...hell even 20 stars, because ALL IS LOST is AMAZING!!!

OMG Marie Wathen I really, really don't like you right now!!! This book was AWESOME, but once again I was slapped up side the head with the cliffhanger ending! How could I not know it would be the same as in book 1...dummy me!

I don't know where to start this review. If you haven't read Be All the first book in this series, I highly recommend that you do.

Marcus Walker - dude is hotness personified and Breesan is his EVERYTHING and he will do whatever it takes to protect her.

Morgan Walker is Marcus' twin and I'll admit I found him to be childish, annoying, selfish, and I just wanted to reach through my kindle and slap him HARD. But, he is finally coming around realizing what he gave up when he let Waverly go.

Barret Walker the twin's father is an ASS no 2 ways around it! I disliked him in the first book and I really, really dislike him in this book!

I loved Tristan in the first book and through no fault of his own (thanks Marie Wathen) he is not on top of my likable list in this book. He better wake up before its too late...Please Marie.

This book is filled with lots of awesome characters, lots of mean, evil, and crazy characters, intrigue, mystery, and turns you won't expect.

If your looking for a really good book that you won't be able to put down than look no further. As I mentioned earlier, there is a cliffhanger ending, so be prepared, but the book is so worth it!

I can not wait to read Sam's (the twins sister) story and hopefully, pretty please Marie an awesome no cliffhanger ending, but even if she does leave us hanging, this time I will be prepared!

A series that will grab you by the .... And never let go!!

I am hooked. Book 1 (Be All) was a very pleasant surprise and Book 2 (All is Lost) far exceeded my expectations! Marie writes from three different perspectives flawlessly giving you a unique reading experience allowing you to feel the raw and uncensored emotions of each character. There are so many twists and turns, I was literally glued to my reader until I finished this one! All is Lost picks up where Be All leaves off, subsequently leaving my heart ripped out on the floor. The first scene with Breesan and Tristan in the hospital left big, fat tears rolling down my face. You feel so connected to Breesan, you can't help but feel the utter heartbreak and agony she has endured and guilt she feels for inflicting pain on the people around her.

What can I say about the Walker brothers....Marcus owns me and his vulnerability where his heart is concerned made me melt even more. He is dominant and charming in a very heart-stopping, green-eyed package. Morgan, I feel so many mixed emotions for. He wants to be good and do the right thing but hasn't found a reason to change until it's too late. Even the illustrious Waverly won me over after a bit.

We get to meet more people in this installment, each playing an important role in this amped up plot. It keeps thickening and I am anxiously awaiting Book 3! If you are looking for a balanced combination of Romance, Mystery and Suspense, I highly recommend this series. I am so happy I stumbled across Be All (Book 1) and am honored to give this ARC Review for All is Lost (Book 2).

Wow! What an amazing second book. I enjoyed the first one but I liked this one even more.

It starts off from the end of the second book and the prologue grabs your attention straight away and never let's you go. We jump straight into the action and this story was even more fast paced than the first.

I really like Breesan this time around, She was a strong character and finally let the people who love her I to thee heart.

I'm still devastated about Tristan and I really hope he turns out to be okay and goes back to normal.

I loved the twins again, even more so with Morgan taking a stand against his dad and I hope he sticks to what he wants now and the brothers sort out their differences.

The plot was even better than the first, I was constantly on edge wondering what was going to happen next and the ending was even more of a cliffhanger than the first! I am so desperate to read the third book and I'm hoping there isn't too long of a wait as I need to know what is going on.

This is looking like a really strong series and I reckon the third book will be even better as the story develops and more questions are answered.

I was lucky enough to beta read All Is Lost and I am so glad I was given the opportunity. This story does end in a cliff-hanger but that is no reason to miss out on a great read.

The story of Breesan Maxwell and her friends who live on Willow Island that we were introduced to in Be All continues in All Is Lost.

It starts the day after the party with everyone reeling from the traumatic events of the previous night, but it’s not long before more trouble strikes and Breesan is again caught up in a situation she can’t control.

That event brings the team Marcus works with fully into the story as they attempt to uncover what is really going on and keep Breesan safe. It also brings Marcus and Breesan closer than they have ever been.

The mystery deepens but, at the same time, some aspects are revealed. Love is found and love is lost, friendships are tested, and some of the characters’ real personalities are exposed. Some good, some bad and some that seem pure evil.

If you loved Be All, you’ll love All Is Lost.

Can’t wait for book 3.

It's hard to even begin with this review b/c it was that GREAT!! This book was beyond amazing! Marie grabs you from the beginning and holds you with each page! There were times I was screaming at my Kindle and others I was speechless! This book takes turns that you will never see coming! It was hard to put it down for anything!

Breesan and Marcus are perfect for each other! She is such a strong female & her strength grows constantly.....and Marcus is, well...perfect & HOT!! ;) Morgan got on my nerves in the beginning being selfish & immature, but he finally figured out what he wanted and my mind changed completely about him!

If you haven't read the book, you need to pick it up today! But, you must read Be All first! Marie Wathen is a great author & holds you captive with her words! :)

Absolutely fantastic! It even tops Be All....what an amazing follow up!

Marcus and Breesan are fantastic together. I loved them in Be All, but I fell in love with them in this one. I really wanted to see where the story was headed after the first book, and it is one hell of a ride. I rarely give short reviews, but this time I am going to do just that. YOU NEED to read this book! If you loved the first one, you will adore this one!

Breesan gets stronger with every single page, and Marcus is the kind of man you fall for without regrets. Please pick this up and let Marie Wathen take you on a journey you won't forget! I give this book 5 lipsticks! I cannot wait to see where this goes...=)

WOW!!!! I loved this book and can't wait for the next one. The author brought this book to life. We all have our trials in life and this book has plenty of trials. Morgan has realizations that bring his life tumbling down on him emotionally. Breesan finds love, life, and sorrow. Marcus finds the love of his life and never wants to lose her. Everything in this story starts bringing together all of the first book "Be All". I am really excited that the author took the readers to heart when writing this book. I want to give a big Thank You to Author Marie Wathen.

3.5 Whirlwind Stars of Chaotic Suspense

Picking up right where Be All left off, the members of Willow Island are all back, all have been effected by that crazy dangerous night at Grandad Walker's house, and all eyes surround Breesan Maxwell.

After a childhood marked by loss and tragedy, Breesan built walls around her heart to avoid experiencing such pain ever again. Not even fully opening herself up to her closest and only friends Ana and Tristan. Yet, the moment Marcus Walker struts into her life, her walls began to lower. The connection is like a gravitational pull that neither can ignore. What starts out as a job for Marcus, turns out to be so much more. Following the climatic attack during Breesan surprise birthday party, it is as if a light blub goes off and Breesan realizes how much she truly cares for those around her; especially her rock, her protector, her love—Marcus.

Breesan

Marcus Walker had himself convinced staying away from Breesan was the best option for her safety. His only focus was to watch out her from a far, not drag her into his hectic, crazy life as a security agent. But once the dots are connected and all the danger leads to one person—Breesan—Marcus realizes he would do anything to keep her safe and not as a job but out of love.

Marcus Walker

Damn if this man doesn’t step up his swoon and alphaness. His protective instincts are turned on hyperdrive determined to never let Breesan out of sight. For as long as possible Breesan is kept in the dark of the full extent of her danger, and she isn’t the only one. I found myself scratching my head a lot like “huh” then BAM whiplash! I had no idea who was bad or good. Marie Wathen constantly keeps you on your toes. Has you suspicious of anyone and everyone. The suspense, the intrigue and anxiousness surrounding “Why & Who want Breesan dead?”

It almost felt like two different plots were taking place in this story. Marcus’ twin brother, Morgan, the infamous selfish, conceited, status conscious playboy, attempts to cure his broken heart and grasp his freedom from the clutches of his morally dysfunctional and corruptive family, by running away to live a life of no responsibilities; in where else than sin city—Vegas.

Morgan Walker

”I will finally have true freedom. Freedom and fun, oh, and the other F word; fucking my way up the strip, with no commitments.”

We receive all three characters’ POVs and where Breesan’s and Marcus intertwined, for the first 55% Morgan is out on his own running into and running from trouble after trouble. However, when all the characters are rejoined and work together, the plots start to mesh making your eyes bug wider as you start to piece the connections together. This story is a lot darker than Be All, there is kidnapping, vicious skanks still lurk coughElisecough, despicable parents, Brett and Haleigh Walker, continue to try to control their sons, human trafficking is discovered, and more people are put in harms way as new threats transpire against Breesan Maxwell.

The romance between Breesan and Marcus lingers throughout the book with high amounts of sexual tension that will leave you hot and bothered. Unfortunately, this sensation will go on for 85% of the read

On plus side, while you lust after Marcus Walker’s goods, he will swoon your heart out leaving you too gitty to care about the sexcapades. I was extremely proud of Breesan for the growth we see in her both emotionally and maturely. On the contrary, I enjoy getting those butterflies in my stomach from the way a guy woes, yet, Marcus comes off a tad too sensitive at times. The exchanged of their feelings for one another is also repetitively expressed. I would of like to see more growth in their relationship rather than putting it all on hold due to the mayhem around them; granted don’t know how Marie would of done that considering there is so much mayhem and mystery surrounding this storyline.

There are a lot of secondary characters, family member, task force team members, people of suspect, sketchy new trouble makers it can be overwhelming at times to remember who is who. We do get a more in-depth introduction to the task force members. Holy hot assertive, intelligent, strong, and big hearted Rhys he is delicious. I really enjoyed the banter between him and Marcus, and him and Sam (Marcus’ sister and Rhys ex-girlfriend). I am on the fence about Sam Walker some of her actions will have you leery but I can’t deny that the chick is badass a helluva of a sister.

Marie Wathen definitely knows how to keep your interest. I however get confused easily and with all the action, suspense, chaotic, drama packed events that took place, I got a wee lost along the way. I didn’t see that ending coming, I should of known the intrigue couldn’t be wrapped up. Ms. Wathen leaves you hooked and in utter shock “What the…Who the…Come again…..???” I have complete confidence in Marie Wathen’s writing that as the series progresses more questions will be answered and mysteries will be untangled. I look forward to book 3—I plan to practice playing the game “Clue” I will solve this story!

My rating: 3.5 of 5 ⭐️

Breesan Maxwell has armed her heart against being hurt and does her best not to connect with anyone. The first people to break through are Anna and Tristan, her loyal and determined friends who persist in dragging her into social settings, which is how she met the Walker twins, Morgan and Marcus.

Morgan is a player of the highest order in his personal life, but for the influencial but highly disfunctional Walker family, he is the golden boy, the one who will lead the family into the future. Marcus has seen through his family's manipulative and nefarious manoeuvring long ago and turned his back to join his older sister in law enforcement. Both twins are intrigued with the beautiful but unreachable Breesan. Morgan is only interested in play, but Marcus' interest goes deeper, he is looking out for Breesan, believing her to be in the path of some dangerous dealings and individuals.

Breesan, who slowly feels her well constructed walls crumbling, is charmed by Morgan but feels safe and treasured with Marcus. And one night, when all hell breaks loose, and a nightmare unfolds, Breesan commits her heart to Marcus completely. The events that follow shake Breesan to the core and she desperately clings to the only stability she has left in her life, the only thing she can trust. Marcus. While holding the pieces of Breesan together, Marcus still has a job to do, not just protecting Breesan but finding out who means her harm.

Morgan finds himself torn between what he has always done, bow to the expectations of his family, or follow the wishes of his newly awakened heart. In his struggle to find the right answer Morgan does what is easiest, he self indulges with alcohol and sex. Anything to numb his mind. Except instead of making things easier, he has just complicated his life ten-fold, by inviting a whole new set of problems his way. Problems with guns. And this time it is not so much the worry about who he has to choose, but whether he will even be alive to make a choice.

While the family's Golden boy keeps finding himself deeper in trouble, the Black sheep works tirelessly to untangle every mess, and a third member just keeps fighting to stay alive.......

************

Wow!! I feel like I've just read three books, instead of one and I haven't got an answer yet!!

This book is NOT a standalone book and should not be read without first reading BE ALL, the first book in the series.
A lot happens in ALL IS LOST, at least it seems that way, because we have point of view from every direction. It seems every character gets a say in this installment and although it gives you a full 360 on the story, it also makes for a lot of information input to process. I certainly was never bored reading the book!

There is a strong plot line in here, but a very complex and thus far unclear one, which makes it seem like we have perhaps three different plots running together, all addressed from different points of view. This is book two in a series of four books and I am positive by book four we will see all the intricate patterns connecting in a grand finale, but in the interim we are reading on faith. Faith that the author is taking us somewhere incredible with this promising build up of suspense and intrigue.

Breesan seems to have lost a bit of her backbone along with the hard shell alround her heart in this book initially. But under the gentle hand of Marcus and the support of his team she regains her feet and in fact joins them in an attempt to uncover more information on who seems to have an unhealthy focus on her.

Now that the lines are clearly drawn in the sand and Marcus and Breesan know where they stand with each other, Marcus is free to let his natural protective instincts take over and never let Breesan out of his sight. Given the tense situation they find themselves in, they still feel it better to take their relationship slowly, but not their commitment to each other.

I'm not sure exactly what Morgan was up to in this book, other than run into one mess after another and coming to some harsh realizations about himself, his family and his place in the world. A necessary lesson learned for sure!! He seems to be working on a more realistic and mature approach to life.

The entire cast of characters is so closely entangled in this series, it is difficult to distinguish who is primary and who is secondary. We get to know all of them pretty well and get a good idea of where they stand and a good feel for personality and in some cases background.

The writing at times can be very detailed, especially in terms of emotions. Repetitive even. But it doesn't really feel stunted, it still seems to flow..... It is as if the personal moments between two people are experienced as if in a time bubble, where everything slows down for full impact, and it seems to work, like slow motion in a movie. All other dialogue and action works at full speed, but those private interludes move like Tai Chi, careful and precise, for full impact. It has an interesting effect on the reading experience. I quite enjoyed it.

Though not normally a fan of serials, given the quality of writing, I am very curious to read the continuation of this story!!

✨An engaging, suspenseful, irresistible and ongoing tale of family (dys)function.✨

Wow Marie Wathen did it again with All Is Lost! I absolutely loved the first book in this series, and finally got around to reading book 2. We pick up right where Be All ends. Breesen and Marcus are together, and everything is in chaos from the shooting at the graduation party.

I loved how we didn’t go months ahead from book 1, but literally the next morning, keeping the story so close that if you are reading these books back to back it’s like you’re reading one long book. I loved Breeson and Marcus’s relationship, and how much they care for each other, and how much Breeson grows being with Marcus.

Morgan gets himself into some trouble in this book as well, and I’m interested to see if it comes back to haunt him in book 3 or not. I liked Morgan and then hated, and then kind of liked Morgan in book 1, in All is Lost he really redeemed himself after a few chapters ;) We see who his true feelings are for, and see him start to stand up for himself, which is awesome. Not wanting to be the pawn in the family business he starts goes out on his own, even if it leads him to some trouble..

The thing that happens in this book with Anna and Waverly and that puts Breeson in a weird spot is horrible, and the epilogue made me want to cry for these girls. Anna and Waverly are missing and Breeson was supposed to be the target, so she’s trying to help the team track them down, which ends up putting her in some unique situations. She is a braver woman than I am, because I would be scared shitless to do the things she does to save her friends, but I loved reading about them

I really love these characters and how much they grew from book 1 to book 2. Breeson now realizes shutting everyone out was the worst thing she could do, and seeing her open up is amazing, seeing Marcus and how protective he is of Breeson and his love for her, Morgan being a man and starting to figure out his own way, everyone on the team. Each of these characters are amazing, and I absolutely love reading about them.

If you haven’t picked up this series yet you are definitely missing out on a unique and amazing story. I absolutely can NOT wait till book 3 comes out so we can find out why Breeson is being targeted, who Dr. A is, and what the heck happened to the girls! I’ll be patiently counting down the time till it comes out, and probably re-reading books 1 &2 before it’s released. Make sure this one is on your TBR list, you don’t want to miss out on this amazing series!

All is Lost is the second book in the All Series by Marie Wathen. The story continues where Be All, the first book of the series, left off. The series is a romance mystery that takes place in Willow, a small island off the coast of Alabama. Breesan Maxwell is the heroine and she is in danger from unknown forces. Her boyfriend, Marcus Walker, and his twin brother, Morgan, are part of a team trying to protect Breesan while continuing the job of hunting down the mysterious Dr. A.

I enjoyed the different points of view through which the story was portrayed. This is a great way to learn different aspects of the mystery. The mystery is complicated and the solution is not obvious as if often the case with romance mysteries. Wathen provides us with numerous clues and maybe some red herrings along the way. The Walker twins are hot and their rivalry helps keep the story rolling. Also, the large cast of characters and their various idiosyncrasies ensure that the story remains interesting. Although I was less interested in Breesan, I kept reading to find out what was going on with Morgan or Marcus or another of the characters.

Unfortunately, there are issues with the book that distracted from the enjoyment of the story. The ebook contains formatting issues whereby the letter size changed frequently. Additionally, there are numerous grammatical errors: spelling errors, change of tense, missing verbs, etc. I also found the scenes jumpy. The author goes into such detail about the character’s feelings but then leaves large gaps in the rest of the story. I found the way the investigation was progressing not to be very believable. In my opinion Breesan’s thought patterns were too advanced for someone of her age that has been living an isolated existence. The dialogue could be tightened to make it more believable as well.

Wathen is a great storyteller and it is obvious that there are many aspects to the mystery that the reader is yet to discover. Having read Be All immediately preceding my reading of All is Lost, it is clear that the author has improved her writing tremendously. If she continues this trend, the next two books will be a delight to read.

Who knew a little island could house so much sex, drugs, and mayhem? All is Lost picks up where Be All ended. What was supposed to be a celebratory night ends in tragedy! Breesen and Marcus have finally declared their feelings for each other, but will have to put their passion on hold while they try to figure out who's is behind all the mischief! All is Lost provides a great mix of hot steamy love scenes and action. I felt like I was reading a sexy version of Sherlock Holmes meets CSI! There are so many twists and turns and so many characters who factor into this story! I did get a bit lost at times because there was so much going on, and while I enjoyed all the action, I felt it dragged on a bit too much. Breesan and Marcus are trying to put the pieces back together after the cray cray night of Morgan's party, together they try to get to the bottom of the corruption, while Morgan is drowning in his own self misery. He has a responsibility to his family, but what he wants most, he's lost. I wanted to grab Morgan and just give him a good shaking! When will men learn that they can't run away from what's in their hearts?

Of course I don't want to give any spoilers on the ending, so I will just say put on your super sleuth hat, write down all the clues to figure out the mystery behind the mayhem on Willow island!

So again in this book there is soooo much going on. I thought the first book was just setting the stage and the second book would streamline the storylines, but not so much. Although now by the second book I was more invested in these characters so it was easier for me to stay engaged in all these crazy stories it is still all over the place. You definitely need to have read the first book before getting into this one. It picks up right where book one leaves off. Tristan is in the hospital, Breesan & Marcus are together and their relationship is strengthening. Although it is a little ridiculous that just because she is a virgin they have no sexual relationship other than kissing. There is a lot can couples can do between kissing & sex to satisfy eachother and they do none of it. There are no sex scenes at all in the first book & nothing in this book until 80% into the book. That is pretty unrealistic. Morgan runs off to Vegas and ends up getting shot at and going on the run. Also seems pretty ridiculous. Although I'm sure that storyline will come back later on and there will be a relevance that Candy ends up being someone, but it still just seems insane when reading it. One of the hardest things to believe is that all these people are in their early 20's. They are just involved in too many scenarios to be so young.

Damn and bugger it, another cliffhanger! The suspense continues through this book, and you're still left wanting answers, once again titbits are spread throughout the book, and it raises new questions. It's very clever in how it grips you but I'm dreading waiting months now to find out what happens next, how some of these new characters fit into the story, and what it all means for Breeson.

This book gives you a much better insight into both Marcus and Morgan, I quite like the Morgan that comes out in this book, he's not quite the self obsessed playboy that came across in book one, and there's hope that he may heal the relationship with his brother and sister.

In this book we go behind the search for the drug dealer, hinting at human trafficking as well, and you're not quite sure just who the good guys and the bad guys are anymore. There's an incident in Vegas that at first seems unrelated, but the further into the book you get, the more it seems more than coincidence. But of course, you don't find out.

Breeson slowly starts to break down her walls and let people in, but it seems that perhaps it's too little, too late as she's close to losing everyone she loves.

Another good book but the wait for the end of the story is going to be a long one!

Bethany's Review

Wow! What an amazing second book. I enjoyed the first one but I liked this one even more.

It starts off from the end of the first book and the prologue grabs your attention straight away and never let's you go. We jump straight into the action and this story was even more fast paced than the first.

I really like Breesan this time around, She was a strong character and finally let the people who love her into her heart.

4-1/2 Stars

I don't even know what to say about this book...

Okay, first off, the pacing was WAY too slow. It was excruciating and to be honest, I can't believe I didn't DNF it. It felt as if the author was stretching out the story just to get a third book in. Not cool.

There was absolutely no resolution. Everything, and I mean everything, was left up in the air. Okay, we did find out a couple of things; i.e., who the abductor was and that a certain someone was still alive, but that's pretty much it and both of those were crammed in at the very end.

Just as I felt with the first book, the bones are there for a really good story, but the execution was severely lacking. Even more so in this book than in the first and that's what got me. I only gave this book a shot, hoping that the author had learned from the mistakes she made in Be All, apparently she didn't or maybe it's just me. Who knows, but I most definitely will not be purchasing the third book.

I'd only recommend this to fans of Be All.

This is part 2 of a 4 part series.

There are still so many unanswered questions... what will happen to Tristan? What about this long lost cousin, Wren? When will Marcus and Breesan finally make love? Will it be as hot as the descriptions of just their TOUCHING?? Will Morgan finally suck it up and tell off his parents? Will Marcus share the secret about his sister with his sister? What about evil step-mom/aunt Julia? Is Breesan's father really alive? What's with the cryptic random texts?

Some of this gets answered and then we're left with more questions as the plot thickens.

This felt a lot like filler until maybe the last 35% of the book. Seemingly really long explanations for stuff we already knew about from Book 1... and you just can't pick up this book as a standalone, either, so again, it's filler.

I also counted more than 50 instances of typos (lack or misuse of punctuation, wrong word choice that spell check wouldn't catch, etc.) And what kind of word is "mygod"???

For the love of everything awesome in the world, you need to read this book!!! ALL IS LOST is hot, with a huge dose of angst and turmoil. I loved every second of it. If I wasn't feeling Breesan’s pain and grief, I was caught up in her connection to Marcus. There wasn't a moment where I wasn't captivated by their story. And their love scenes... OMG!!!
Breesan Maxwell is alone in this world. She has been in hiding to stay live and from who we really don't know, and the mystery keeps you guessing. Marcus immediately inserts himself into her new life, leaving Breesan with true love and emotions and decisions to make. Does she let herself finally feel something real or does she protect herself, Marcus, and her friends she has finally accepted and let into heart. By denying herself what she's never had - a true connection with another person that goes beyond lies and secrets.
Will Breesan Maxwell finally find herself, love and her best friend!

Sequels are never as good as the first book. Well, Marie Wathen has proved that statement wrong!

Continuing with the story of Breesan and Marcus, two people who realize how they feel about each other but things keep getting in the way. The main characters that Marie has created are super. Even the supporting characters make you feel for them. You want to delve more into their lives, you are left wanting more. Love... Suspense.... You have it all in this series.

Another great book by Marie Wathen! If you haven't read this book, or the first, it is time to get reading!

This book was fantastic!! I would definitely have to say I would give this book five stars, not only does this book offer a crazy amount of love stories it is also full of drama and mystery!! As you follow Breesan and her friends in this second book you will not be able to put it down. It will make you giggle out loud, maybe blush a little or bring tears to your eyes as you learn more about these great characters and their stories!! I need the next book now!!!
