Filthy Bratva

Rate this book
Savva is a filthy bratva beast, as cruel as he is charming and as brutal as he is gorgeous.

When I took over my late father's biker bar, I also took over the payments he was making to Savva, the leader of a powerful mafia family operating on the edge of Las Vegas. But Savva couldn't be satisfied with money alone. He wanted more.

He spilled into my life like a dark, inescapable shadow, stealing my dignity and drowning me in his sin.

But his twisted promises and dark desires aren't enough to convince me to fall for him. Neither are his whiskey kisses and his iron abs.

But there is something else, something that I've been hiding from him. Something that could finally push me over the edge and into his eternal possession.

I'm pregnant, and the baby is his.

Got this book during stuff your kindle a few days ago and I didn't have high expectations for it though the premise seemed interesting at first, things quickly just didn't work for the story or for me.

He was supposed to be a Bratva boss but only have 3 or so people working under him?? I am not sure that qualified as a ''Bratva'' but more like a low mob boss who just collects money for his loans. He didn't seem at all powerful in terms of manpower or compared to a lot of other Bratva guys we read about.

And while he was a bit of a disappointment in that regards, the FMC was annoying? and mainly unrealistic. She was able to run a bar in less than a week and get everything sorted so quickly when she had NO prior knowledge of anything, no experience etc.

The one thing more annoying was her mother and her gaslighting every situation along with her never allowing her to ever know her father. I don't think even at the end she had any remorse for her actions which makes it all sad for the FMC's dad (Angus).

If you don’t mind some timeline inconsistencies & an FMC who 100% does not have a bachelors in psychology (idc what the book says..there’s absolutely NO WAY 🧐)

I will say the with the audio Savva had me a lil 🤤

***FULL SPOILER-RIDDEN COMMENTS 👇‼️***

I listened to this while driving & made voice memos of my comments, questions, & concerns while listening:

1)Timeline

After the fmc had the bar up & running these were my questions:

-fmc “cleaned & refurnished” the bar: how, when? It seemed like she was there 2 days before it was up and running.
- [ ] the alcohol had mold on it
- [ ] how long was she there b4 they opened for business
- [ ] how’d she pay for all this?
- [ ] how did ppl know it was open for business- if it was closed since angus died
- [ ] how did she casually put out those employment ads & hire ppl
- [ ] how long did her mom think she was gone for??

All this work taken AT LEAST a month or something esp considering the mold & stuff everywhere. The book acted like this was all of 2 days. She casually lied ab going for an interview -> cut to her up & running a bar. Like what was her plans to tell her mom? Did her mom think she’d be gone for weeks? I’m so confused

2)Be so fr
When Savva said “if they needed more time to pay, they could’ve just asked and we’d give them more time”. The bank wouldn’t even be that nice but the Brtava.. c’mon 🙃

-HELLO?? The bratva will just give u more time to pay 🌸😊?? WTF… is this a joke. I couldn’t take Savva seriously.

-Russian bratva wouldn’t be like “ oh u just need a little more time to pay, why didn’t u just say so”

3)Are they dumb?

When the bikers showed up:

-Is Oakley dumb?? why wouldn’t she text Savva asap?? and be like hey there’s bikers talking ab killing u. SAME thing with her employee or herself

- they literally insinuated assaulting her why did she just go back to normal???

-how is she SO GODDAMN CLUELESS, when they talked about Angus & made the joke ab cutting brakes how can she not 100% piece together that’s how her dad died.

-Also & I’m so sorry to anyone that has this name (ik I have a basic name myself), but I cannot stand the name Oakley

4) This is absurd

-ur telling me, it was THAT easy for Oakleys mom to keep her dad away for ever

-where’s the full on talking it out with the mom. considering it’s importance to the story im gonna need a more in depth reconciliation & explanation from the mom; instead, all is brushed off

-what was in the rest of the boxes?? (That contained addresses etc). what’s the full story with her dad, I need something more!!!

First of all how is she 21, just graduated college, and expecting to get a job as a counselor?? You need a minimum of a MASTERS to get into counseling. That’s a requirement for many states.

Secondly, are we just going to ignore the fact that the MMC called her a slut not once, not twice, but THRICE?

Noping out. Bye ✌🏻

FMC is suppose to be a 21 yo with a degree in psychology, but cannot diagnose her own dysfunctional mother. Can’t wait to get out of mothers house, but then worry’s she won’t have a place to go like she is still a teenager needing parents to support them other than a adult…next she inherits her dad’s bar…but he still owns money on it aka a loan that has to be repaid like most adults do, but she bitches that MMC is shaking her down for money…um no you gotta repay loan shit ain’t free. Then she goes and buys a shotgun….has no fucking clue, how to even use it let alone even know if it works…but she’s a badass that will shoot MMC in the head with it…maybe if she got a lucky shot..guessing the shotguns kick would put her on her ass way before then. By 80% I was hoping FMC would trip on the shotgun and blow her own brains out…and what Bravta boss is in a little one horse town with only 3 minions…

A Bratva boss who rides a motorcycle…yup….that sounds pretty hot. And Saava did sound pretty hot, that bad boy Bratva attitude but he’s got the sweet side only for Oakley. I liked it. The storyline was easy to follow and well written. I really liked both characters I thought they were well suited to each other. To be honest the book could have been longer, I was kind of disappointed when it ended I had been hoping for more mayhem! But besides my thirst for blood and destruction it was a great read and I look forward to what Miss Bella is going to write next!.

When Oakley took over her father’s biker bar, she also took over the payments to Savva, a mafia family. Savva wants more from Oakley then just money, he wants her. What will happen when she ends up pregnant with his baby? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and emotion. Great characters and lots of steam. I liked it.

The most immature thing I've ever read. I gave up at 34% when the heroine yells at her mother like a spoiled horrible brat just because her mom was worried about her, and she had actually been lying to her mother for weeks, about where she was and what she was doing, not taking her calls or replying to her texts.

She literally screams "I don't want to f**king talk to you!" down the phone at her mother. If that's not enough to show how childish this writing is and the childish characters it creates then I don't know what would be. The cringing immaturity level of this book was the final straw but there were many other issues here. Short list follows -

1 This bratva leader rides a motorcycle, written by the author as though describing a biker, not a bratva leader. Honestly it felt like the author didn't know what she was doing writing this and didn't even know if she wanted this to be a brava or a biker book

2. He has only three minions, that's it. Three men under him. He is not big or bad, or bratva in any way. He is immature, and their scenes together are cringingly immature.

3. It's unlikely a 21 year old can be smart enough to somehow find distributors to replace all the spoiled alcohol in this bar, to restock it, clean it out after a month at least of disuse, open the place to all hordes of biker's and rough men smoking weed etc, but be so stupid that she works the bar completely alone, leaving herself

a) vulnerable to all the rowdy, dangerous, drunken and weed smoking customers by being alone as the only person working in this busy bar, in middle of nowhere, which would take police three hours to get to, even if she did manage to somehow call them for help. So stupid!

b) that's not to mention that the crowd the author describes here would need a lot more than one bartender working the place. You'd need waitress staff as well, because lets not forget the clean up at the end of each night in a bar is not something one person could do, especially after serving drink all night.

c) the heroine just takes his word for it that he's owed momey and that she'll have to work it off for three years. Instead of then giving him the bar and making a run for it, she actually agrees to that. She's so immature she hides everything from her mother, and the male lead is not big and bad in any way.

d) then this copied and pasted directly from the book is weird, "As Pasha leaves, I walk calmly toward the stairs, only quickening my pace when he’s out of view. I take the stairs by two, arriving in my bedroom in seconds. The gun I need is already on my bed". It's written as though he is hiding the fact he's getting his gun. Weird because Pasha is his brava sidekick, so why did he hide getting the gun?

4. Not only is the story basic, missing detail and depth, with no supporting characters etc, the writing is basic, with missing words, extra words, missing letters from words, and the writing style is juvenile. I know I said this above but so are the way the characters are written and how they think and speak. It's really bad how immature this is.

5. It's painfully boring and repetitive. I was skimming by 20%, the scene of the heroine thinking about hiring people and what she should pay them. I skipped the next scene of her buying a shotgun completely, then skipped the next scene of her once again thinking about hiring and paying people.

When you're so bored by reading a book that you don't read three scenes in a row, skipping dozens of pages, and literally cringe numerous times by only 30% at how immature it is, it's time to give up reading the book. 1 star.

okay so I dnf this at 58%.

What I recommend? surprisingly yes I think. so they're definitely is inconsistencies but the story is intriguing enough that if I was in a car and I needed to listen to this on a TTS Reader through my Bluetooth I could totally do that and still pay attention to GPS and the people around me but also pay attention to the book because it's not that serious.

would I read this again? no because I didn't even finish it. if I find myself bored in the car and I don't have anything else so listen to I might come back to this and listen to it because I only only have like an hour-ish to go.

random thoughts.

- so the story starts 6 months after the FMC has graduated college for psychology at 21. as other people have stated this is a unrealistic achievement in a lot of cases because most psychologists jobs are going to require a masters in the subject. also know where in the story that I saw did she use that degree in any way.

- the timeline really felt like it was unrealistic considering the FMC makes a comment about how her dad didn't put money in the bank nor did she get any from his death. she just got the bar. the MMC when he broke into the bar before she had even arrived spoke about how there wasn't a lot of money in the register and how bad the bar looked. it being a hot environment the AC was not on. I don't think the power was even on. they talk about they're being mold on the alcohol bottles and mold in the office and that there must have been some sort of ice bags on the floor that soak the carpet but then later they talk about how she did some renovations. well where'd she get this money from? she talks in the beginning chapter about not having any money and how she needed to get any job she could so that she could at least have spending money. so where'd the money come from??

- so they know that there's an issue with this motorcycle club group or whatever but they don't do anything about it? so it takes the MMC over a month apparently for him to realize that the fmc's father had died. I'm not sure if he was coming to the bar because they do think he skipped out but you think they would have done enough research to look into that. but she says he was dead for a month already. but then she overhears the other group of motorcycle list during the day coming up to the bar making comments about her dad and how he died because his brakes were cut by them but then she doesn't relay this information to the mmc. she also has someone watching the bar that was a Sign by the MMC but they're not there during the day so nowhere in this situation did the MMC assign anyone during the day to watch the bar even though multiple things have happened during the day and not when the bar is open but they know that she is there so make that make sense.

- I know this is surprise pregnancy Trope but it was kind of oddly done I don't know what to say about that.

I also think the way that they got together was kind of odd. like he's kind of a douche but whatever I guess and she's a little tstl (too stupid to live) but also somehow magically knows how to run a bar in a business even though she's never done that before but thinks it's a better option now than psychology.

Hang on and buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Oakley sassy, feisty, stands up for herself being raised by her overbearing, controlling mom never growing up with her father so very surprised when she gets word that she inherited a biker bar so moving to take over running it seem like a good idea until a mob guy walked in demanding he pay what her father owed…if it is too good to be true then most time it is too good. Savva sexy as all get out bratva boss ruthless for the most part, deadly when need, a little scary at times and on his way to collect a debt owed from the new owner of the biker bar but what he didn’t expect was a beautiful women and the debt is no longer of interest. The attraction is instant, it is intense, and the magnetic pull between them can’t be ignored and getting to know each other was part of the journey yet for her it was a path to figure out who her father really was, did he ever really care for her oh, a little fun along the way but fate took over drawing them to one another but when he leaves her with a part of himself that will arrive in a few months will he go all next level protector on her, will his controlling way make her run keeping his baby from him, will she force the bratva boss to come out by way of protecting her after his learns of his baby, will she find what she has been looking for about her father, and when she find the freedom, the happiness she’s looking for with her dangerous bratva?.

This book was not exciting at all. It was an easy but boring read, and it left me feeling like the time was wasted.
Here's why:..
-there is this whole mystery about Oakley's dad and his absence in her life.. she makes calls to her mother and nothing is admitted, other than her mom hid her (logic told us that since she didn't know him) then we just don't care anymore.
-This book should NOT be labeled as Bratva. Savva rode a bike everywhere had a "crew" of 3 guys.. where was the faceoff between the organized crime groups?!? (I do not consider the mess with Stone as part of a war.. that was revenge. Not business!)
-Oakley was childish, irritating and two-dimensional... NOT a fan
-Savva was only awesome in the beginning. After that his character came off as a bad-boy wanna be.. the guys that go around saying they're "alphas" when they don't even know the meaning.
-the timeline in this story is wonky..at one point she just did the no pants dance with him then two chapters later she's pregnant, but I didn't read anything indicating a time lapse.
-After the incident with Stone there was literally nothing more but the swap of "I love you's" and the epilogue which brought NOTHING INTERESTING to the story.
-there was also a bunch of errors

-also.. I don't know who decided to market this as dark, but they should be fired! The ONLY thing "dark" about this story is the language.. everything else is pretty tame

Like I said... UNIMPRESSED

Not for Me — Poor Execution All Around
⭐️ Story: 1/5
🔥 Spice: 1/5
🎧 Narration: 2/5

The Russian accent? One of the worst I’ve ever heard. Honestly, it would've been better if the male narrator just used his regular voice. On top of that, the chemistry between the characters wasn’t developed at all before the MMC started throwing around derogatory names. Don’t get me wrong — I love that dynamic when it’s done right — but here, it felt forced and awkward. There was no build-up, no tension, no real spark. Just… dryness.

The MFC supposedly has a psychology degree but shows zero self-awareness. She’s clearly dealing with major daddy issues, and she keeps letting her mom gaslight her over and over. That whole dynamic was exhausting — and so unrealistic considering her background. Her inner thoughts hinted at awareness, but her actions said otherwise, and it was frustrating to watch her let it all slide.

The plot itself was full of holes. Timelines didn’t make sense, and character behavior was inconsistent. Honestly, this read more like a biker romance than a mafia one. A mafia man wouldn’t let a biker gang take his money and then have to go back groveling for it. That scene alone was enough to kill the vibe.

The female narrator did a decent job, but the male narrator really struggled. I don’t entirely blame him — I’m guessing the author insisted on the accent. I’d give him another shot with better material.

First and last Bella King book for me.

I realize it’s dumb to complain about this, but this book was written in 2023 and the second I read about this 21 year old named Oakley my suspension of disbelief was waning. Oakley is a popular name right now but I have never met a human over the age of 5 named Oakley. It’s like reading a book about an elderly woman named Mikaeleigh.

Actual reasonable complaints:
- our main character receives a letter saying she inherited a bar and there’s no like.. estate lawyers, probate periods, blah blah? Nobody calls her??
- why the fuck would she drop her entire life and move to take over this bar instead of just selling it? How did she expect to handle any of this on her own with zero experience?
- she just doesn’t expect to owe any loans to anyone?? She’d literally have to take over the mortgage for the business?? Also any rental agreements for the kitchen equipment.

I used to do inventory and accounts payable for a bar. No way she could source vendors, transfer rental agreements, get liability insurance in her name etc, in a week. This is absolutely too unbelievable. Authors should write what they know OR do research and this author did neither.

Still giving two stars because I have read worse.

I've never come across a book Bratva leader who rides a Harley and drinks in a one horse town but hey.

When the beautiful Oakley finds out she has inherited a bar in another state from her barely remembered father ex convict, Angus, she see this as not only an escape from her overbearing mother but the start of a whole new life.

Little does she know that her father loaned the money to buy said bar from Savva the dangerous head of the Bratva and he's coming for what he is owed.

There were elements of this book I really enjoyed such as the character of Savva although he did such a 180 halfway through the book that I started rolling my eyes.

What was intriguing was Oakley's journey trying to find out who her dead father actually was and if he had ever tried to find her later in life. Sadly the author dropped this storyline like a bag of bolts and yet further teased us with a 'find' almost at the end of the book.

A simple, entertaining read.

A wonderful Bratva story with action, violence, paybacks, betrayal, unexpected moments and lots of steam, passion and romance. Oakley runs his bar after the death of her father and not only that but she also gets the debt that he owes to the bratva, she didn't count on Savva the boss and he wants not only his money but also Oakley, unfortunately for him Oakley doesn't give in so easily. Even with the attraction and their pining for each other, Savva has to work for it and once they give in, sparks fly. But the tension builds as if her life is in danger and not only hers but also the baby she carries under her heart. What will Savva do when he finds out that she has been endangered by him? Go read this amazing story for yourself to find out.

Savva and Oakley

Savva is the head of the Bratva in Nevada and Oakley is a new graduate from college that just inherited her estranged father’s bar outside of Vegas. They meet when Savva shows up to collect the weekly payment toward the debt her father owed.
I enjoyed the story once it got about 45% in. The beginning even if it was important to show the dynamic between Oakley and her Mom, the dynamic between Savva and Oakley was kinda confusing or all over the place. I understand that he was toying with her, but the spanking wasn’t what I expected. Could be just me and what I thought would happen and it didn’t so it seemed OTT.
Overall, it’s not a bad story. It has dual POVs and an epilogue which I love.

Oakley learns her father has died and goes to take over his bar. Savva is a Bratva member and Oakley's dad owes him money. Sparks fly between them when they meet. Savva tries to fight his attraction to Oakley but when she acts out it sets him into motion to claim her. However, he never counted on someone going after her because of him. Will he be able to protect her? Will they be able to be together?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Don’t quite know what to do with this book.

The concept of the story is good, her father dies and leaves her a bar where she has to take over payments to a bratva boss.

But Savva is awful to get in the beginning, really not a nice human being and almost juvenile in the insults. He’s meant to be the most ruthless Bratva boss in Nevada, but there’s no evidence of this, only references a few people by name so sounds like the bratva is tiny, he rides a Harley which just doesn’t fit and dismisses the enemy far too quickly making simple mistakes.

The whole thing feels more like 2 high school kids and just has juvenile dialog between all characters

Ya this was another stuff your Kindle read that was a no from me.

I love anti heros and dark romance but this loser, who didn't want to lose $2000 a week she was paying him by being with her so couldn't have been that great of a mafia boss, was not it. He was just a low level loan shark basically.
He calls her a slut several times and not in a sexy way, calls her a bitch, calls her a whore.... It's not hawt it's just being a douchebag.

Also you can't be a therapist with a what, 3 year degree (she is 21). And you can't just step into a bar and start successfully running in within weeks with no experience and no one to show you anything.

It was a DNF after about halfway.

No character development.

I really struggled thru this and almost didn’t finish. I understand this is intended to be a quick read, but there was almost no growth or transition written into the story. Savva went from calling her a $lut and a wh@re to buying her teddy bears and declaring his love. Oakley went from living with her mom, getting a degree is psychology, to running a bar, to depending on Savva for everything. It was all too much, and the editing was off for me. There is a store to buy limes and lemons 20 minutes down the road, but a pregnancy test is 2 hours away? I wanted to like this more. Sorry.

when Oakley takes over her late fathers bar she also takes on paying the debt to the bratva, but boss Savva wants more than just the payments he wants her. But Oakley won't give in so easy, no matter how much her body craves his, he won't get her heart, but will that all change with a positive pregnancy test, and the fact Savva's put her in danger? Well written engaging steamy, bratva repayment, push and pull, romance.

Bratva finds love!!

This was a good read! When the book started and I met the hero, I didn't like him and thought I would struggle finishing. As the story develops, he redeems himself and you start rooting for the couple. There is lots of steam, drama, and some action. This was a quick read for me and once you get past the beginning it picks up and holds your attention. The heroine is young and a little immature, but likeable. I feel she grew as an adult in this read. Overall enjoyable read!!.

Some authors can write a solid plot with good spice and some have to pick between plot and spice. This book had both and the plot was terrible. How is savva a bratva boss with no security, no men that he is in charge of besides 3, and basically no responsibilities except collecting money?! I’m a mafia romance gurlll and this book was more like biker man with naive girl who don’t go on any dates but sleep together then confess their love 😃 nawrrrrr

So many book plot lines that weren’t finished by the author regarding her parents

Ok so I don’t want to spoil anything BUT not to seem picky but I’m on chapter 20 and she still hasn’t told him whaT she overheard while behind the bar.
And she isn’t on BC and didn’t think to ask about condoms!!!!

I can see once - we are all human and things happen
But a graduated college adult and I’m thinking she’s 12

But so far I like the book, first reviews. Cause I’ve been arguing with my sister who already finished it about Jist and such lol

Enjoy everyone , only thing thst upset the book for me but I guess This is life .. lol

A cool story for Oakley and Savva

It was a nice read. I was impressed by Oakley because she was adventurous beyond belief. She received a letter stating that her long lost father passed away and left her a bar. Oakley, newly graduated from college takes it as a sign and moves to take this bar in sight unseen. That’s pretty remarkable. Savva is the leader of the Bratva and collects protection money for that bar. Oakley has lots of surprises in her journey. . . Read On!

Needs Work

The book has promise, but a whole lot wrong. There are grammar errors. The characters have the maturity and intelligence of 14 year-olds. Aside from some bluster in the beginning, there is nothing tough about this so-called Bratva boss. He doesn’t seem to pay any attention to his businesses or worry about any threats. There is no way this qualifies as Dark Mafia. A better description would be two bumbling fools driven by hormones.

no thank you ♥️

I hated this so much.

The writing was childish, the hero was the wimpiest Bratva leader I’ve ever read, the heroine was bizarre, and the entire storyline was chaotic and not well thought out.

I don’t think the conflict ever even resolved??

Yeah this was a no. Also I don’t mind a degradation k!nk, but I *hated* the way this man talked to the heroine in the beginning. It was so cringey.

This was a kindle ad fail 😊

Honestly I’m used to a grumpy mmc, love them adds a lil something extra but this guy was just straight up mean to her. If he had talked to me like that I would’ve slapped him HARD and wouldn’t even give him time to recover before giving him another.

I read this as an audiobook which was abt 5hrs long and she didn’t find out she was pregnant until the last 40 minutes then didn’t tell the mmc til there was less than 20 minutes left

Woooo, What a book!

Seriously what a book!

So much to go over but so little time! Oakley inherits her father’s bar and his payments to the Bratva Mafia. Where she meets Savva. Savva. *Sigh*, he is just perfection walking.

That’s all the time I have!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Okay story minus the story

In my personal opinion the story went on really fast …they meet he’s a big bad mafia, fall in love, pregnant, danger, end danger, happiness… that’s pretty much the sum of the story it wasn’t best but it also wasn’t the worst. Could I read it again…yes …will I …probably not.
