Rate this book
This non-fiction book is a compelling look at a real murder in the small town of Scottsburg, Indiana. The book is based on the mother's diaries, newspaper articles, police reports and court documents. There are also photographs. The story was the subject of an article in the October, 2002 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine that focuses on the sister of the victim. (begins p. 242)

I can't begin to imagine dealing with the murder of your child. This book was hard to read but it makes you thankful for what you have.
