You can tell from the off set that Roy is not a writer as he tends to tell his story in short sentences, with that in mind though it is interesting to hear about his crimes from his own perspective rather than just being told about them from someone who was not there in the moment. This is my first book I have read that was written by the person doing the crimes. All though I feel at some points may have been exaggerating for him to "show off" almost like he is using this book to say "look how many people I had sex with", I'm not a massive fan of someone boasting. Overall though I did find this book compelling and as previously said, it was interesting to see the crimes from the point of view of the person actually doing them.
