Nelson's and Audrey's Story
Nelson's and Audrey's Story
I loved the strengths and weaknesses displayed by the characters. And, I loved the way they stepped through their pain and fear as they attempted to learn to trust without the shackles of the past. Aunt Lena and little Ricky were great characters with their own unique personalities. Somehow these four people formed a support system that each could learn from and come to believe in. I would love to have one of Lena's gourmet meals! Also,
Mrs. Forster made me want to visit all of the places she described in the D.C. /Virginia / Maryland area.

I LOVE THE MARINES AND THIS BOOK HAD ME ALMOST IN TEARS; BECAUSE I WAS INSPIRED BY NELSON AND AUDREY'S RELATIONSHIP, SO I'M GLAD EVERYTHING CAME TOGETHER AS WELL AS IT DID.

Such a sweet read based on determination, love and patience. It was nice seeing a cameo of Rufus and Naomi from Sealed With A Kiss.

So cute this story was. You'll enjoy all the characters especially the nephew Ricky.
