Up in Flames #5

When Love Knocks

Rate this book
Sophia Clark is just feeling normal after losing her husband in a car accident, when Doug Black knocks on her door. She hasn't seen him in years and suspects his motives. She has no qualms letting him know she is not looking for a white knight. Her four children, however, have different ideas. And pretty soon they are trying to convince Sophia that Doug should stick around for the long-term.

Hello kind reader, hopeful fan or general random passer-by,

Whomever you are, however you came to read this page, welcome. My name for our intents is Asrai Devin. An Asrai is a water fae, who if captured or touched by sunlight turns to water.

I am a writer with a big imagination and little patience for the mundane. As I write this I am still feeling defensive about a "discussion" my husband and I had about my lack of organizational skills and if I should "try harder." I'm trying to take the high road.

My other faults are a slight video game addiction, a propensity to love too much and too wide, inability to spell certain words (partly because I type too fast and partly because it's not that important), and slight Asperger-like behaviours. (If you ever meet me, don't expect any eye contact, I can't get the hang of it).

I'm a loud-mouthed introvert with an (tiny) obsession for the Dragon Age series, Storage Wars, and setting people straight on Yahoo Answers.

I have two children, one school age and one tantrum-prone age. I am married and I used to be an educational assistant, a job I miss dearly, but hope not to return to (this writing thing will work out I swear it). I love yarn and fabric and the idea of turning something discarded into something useful or making things from scratch. My project ADD keeps me from actually following through.

I had more to say, but I got distracted by something shiny and exciting. Also, talking about yourself too much is bad for you. Drop me a line and tell me about yourself. You could be my new shiny thing for the day!
