With the war in the Huáng empire halted, the time has come for Alex/Xeal to shift focus once more, as he tries to solve the situation in the Muthia Empire before having to devote everything he has to the war in Nium. Though at the same time, his obligations in reality are ever present as he prepares for the results of Kate’s hard work, both in the professional and personal aspects of their lives. Will everything go as planned, or will Alex/Xeal face a few setbacks in his efforts as he works to continue the tenuous balancing act that he has created for himself? One thing is for sure, he isn’t going to simply sit back and let things come to him.
As a child I did not read unless Pokémon cards count. It wasn’t until middle school when my mother played a trick on me, she got me entranced in the Harry Potter books. She would read the first few to me before switching to reading me a chapter and leaving the book out for me to read if I wanted more. Thus started my love of reading, at least in part. I still didn’t go out of my way to find books to read and after high school I could count on one hand how many books I would read each year. Life continued like this for over five years before I was hooked on an anime and searched out its light novel. This led to the phase where I was reading at least a couple books a month to now where I have gone through over 300 books in the last year.
Now I am putting my own work in to the world while following my own mantra. To write for yourself or you will never love what you write. When I first started to put my ideas into words I was surprised to find that those I shared it with loved it. This led me on to the road of putting out my own book for the world to see. Thank you to everyone who has or will help and support me in making this dream a reality.
Another great addition to the series. I feel like I say that every book but it is really true. The characters continue to grow and the action has been picking up more steam. Can’t wait to see how everything turns out and love the journey that we are all on with the series.
While generally I have really enjoyed this series, There have been a couple of books that I was less impressed with. This was definitely not one. I thoroughly enjoyed it and think it's one of the top 1 so far.
Xeal and family continue to make progress. I was excited to see the wedding finally happened and really looking forward to seeing the war wrapping up. Wonder what's next? Hoping to see tier 8 soon!
