There's passion smoldering at the bed and breakfast in Charade, but what will it take to fan the flames?
Dora Fontaine, the proprietress of Charade’s only B&B, enjoys sharing her ultra-feminine home with guests. From the red Blaze roses in her garden to the frilly lace curtains and antique tea service in her kitchen, Bohemian Rhapsody is a girly-girl’s dream come true. She’s not immune to masculine charms, though, especially when a burly, bearded, wild man from the woods comes calling.
Lowell, oldest son of the Rossi clan, crashes into her life like a bull in a china shop. He’s admired Dora from afar, but gets tongue-tied around the curvaceous beauty. Sparks are flying and romance is in the air, but someone from Prescott Woods seems determined to douse the fire.
As one of the Fair Folk, Lowell has access to the magic of Prescott Woods. He longs to share it with Dora, but she’s got to agree to leave all that she’s known before he can reveal the secrets of the woods. If he can control his temper and bend the rules just a bit, he just might create a love that will burn for a lifetime…
Reader Advisory: This book is best read in sequence as part of a series.
I live in a teeny-tiny town in the southeastern United States, surrounded by rolling hills and lots of cows. My house is brimming with my rowdy sons, hot husband, and more pets than I can shake a stick at. When I close my eyes, though, I’m in a white stucco villa on the Mediterranean, sipping a martini and watching the turquoise waves crash at my feet. Next to my hot husband, naturally.
I love to read and write erotic romance, fantasy, and sci-fi because of the escape factor: I want to leave the ordinary and travel somewhere exotic, unusual, and sexually-charged in a book. My characters are thrust into unpredictable situations, and they respond with humor, open-mindedness, and loads of scorching passion. I hope you enjoy escaping with me into the sultry world of erotic romance.
The second in a series: Dora runs a small B&B in Charade. Completely and utterly feminine, from lace to roses her guest house is a delightfully girly space, befitting a girly girl with dreams of family and love. When Lowell walks out of Prescott Woods and into her life, the bearded and all too masculine man is a definite contrast to her feminine house and space.
As one of the Rossi clan of Fair Folk, Lowell is possessed of secrets that cannot be shared until Dora gives her ultimate trust to him: then he can share his skills and knowledge with her. From utterly charming in that awkward and shy way, Lowell charms Dora with his soft manner. Although she is unwilling to leave the life and home she has built in Charade, she may have no chance but to flee with Lowell for him to protect her from someone out to kill her.
Sweetly convincing, Lowell is a quiet hero with softness outside that is concealing the more dominant and strong minded male beneath. Instant lust between the two slowly starts to spin to love which is soon interrupted by mayhem. Dora’s hesitation and conflicted feelings about the changes being asked of her, and the desire for Lowell are present, and fortunately all works for the best interest of the two.
I received an eBook copy from the publisher for purpose of honest review for the Jeep Diva. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
Lowell, one of the fair Folk of Prescott Woods, has agreed to not tell any human of their magic and secrets unless they agree before they know about the magic to go and live in the woods with them. Lowell and the entire family know the odds of this working is slim because who would agree to go live in the Prescott Woods. Who is going to agree to live in the woods without knowing the truth?? Dora, a young single woman who runs a B&B has been dancing and attracting Lowell's attention. Lowell is bound to try and convince her and Dora does not want to leave the only home she has felt she has had. But when Dora is put in mortal danger, things change for both and the entire family will have to come together to get them through.
This is a cute read. Lowell is a handsome guy but doesn't know a thing about women. Dora a sweet, sexy, confident woman, who has never had a family. Lust slowly turns to love and that is when all hell breaks lose. Cute read. this is book two, which you can read on its own but if you read book 1 first, some of the things make more sense. Not my favorite book by this author but I love her work. Complimentary book given for a free review. juliesbookreview.blogspot.com
Lowell Rossi never expected to be attracted to human much less Carmen's friend Dora Fontaine. He loves watching her and can't get enough of her. Dora Fontaine runs The Bohemian Rhapsody Bed & Breakfast(B&B)which she adores almost as much as belly dancing. Lowell introduces himself to Dora not realizing he's already smitten with her. As Dora gets to know Lowell strange accidents keep happening in and around her home which drives Lowell away spitting angry and frustrated by this. Dora tells Lowell to let it go and help her clean up the resultant mess. Lowell wants to tell Dora the truth about him and Prescott Woods but finds he can't even speak the words needed or required either. Will Lowell come clean? Will Dora admit and share her feelings for Lowell? Who is causing these accidents? Your answers await you in Beds and Blazes.
Yet another wonderful addition to this series. I loved the continuation of characters and backdrop! I loved gaining insight into Dora and Lowell's characters. Both are yummy characters with a deeply rich background. This is also a quick read that's full of sexy steam that leaves you hot and bother. Time to go search for hubby~Later.
The oldest Rossi brother, Lowell, was adamant about not wanting a human in the first book, now it´s his turn to eat his words. Falling for the gorgeous inn keaper Dora, he´s tripping over his own feet trying to talk to her. With the rule from his father that no one is to be turned into immortal without knowing the truth and chosing it for themselves, Lowell´s hands are tied. But then disaster strikes at the inn, and to save Dora and his future, he has to make a decision for her. Smutty fluff, romance and suspense. A great, quick read.
Today's review is on Beds and Blazes by Bebe Balocca
It's rather quite difficult to write back-to-back reviews for an author you enjoy. Though each book; like each person, has it's own personality, there are just some that resonate a bit more than others. Some that you can really relate to in some way. For me, it's Beds and Blazes.
Being a curvaceous woman, size 12-14, I like to read books where a woman of my size and/or a bit bigger gets the stud. Let's face it, all women, regardless of age, shape, or size want to feel beautiful and desirable. We want the same instant lust a man feels for a sexy woman, and I can't think of a better character to show that than Dora Fontaine.
Dora came to Charade in the last book and became the proud owner of Bohemian Rhapsody, a delightful if not overly girlie B&B. So far she loves her business, she loves her friends, and really does enjoy taking care of her guests. If only she could get a little love in her life things would be perfect. Be careful what you wish for.
Low and behold, Dora is visited by Mr. Dreamy himself, Lowell Rossi. He's charming as hell and built like a god. Most importantly though is that he falls head over heels in love with her, and her full figured body. (Hooray!!) But along with getting tongue tied around her, he wants to tell her the truth about himself, his family, and the other supernatural creatures in Prescott Woods but cannot. It's against the rules.
The comedy of this book will cause you to chuckle, the fantasy will whisk you away, and the sex.....Let's just say that the building won't be the only thing on fire.
I loved Dora and salivated over Lowell. I can't wait for the next book in this series. Please tell me there's a book 3!!
