About the author

W. Nikola-Lisa's interest in writing books for young readers began as an elementary school teacher. "Tangletalk" is just as it sounds - talk which has become tangled, typically by swapping a word in the opening line with a word in the following line. This results in absurd situations which are then depicted in pleasant drawings. Amusing and charming, albeit a trifle.
