An excellent but very technical introduction to phytochemistry and herbal medicine. It reads like a textbook, and I really wouldn't recommend sitting down to read it cover-to-cover. It works much better as a reference. Keep your organic chemistry textbook nearby! Author is Australian and many references are to native Australian plants.
