This was an interesting read and really kept my attention throughout the story. Spencer Tracy was one of the greatest actors; he could switch from heroism to hedonism-- seemingly, in a heartbeat.   However, lately, I've read that there was no affair between Kate and Spencer but they lived together to cover Kate Hepburn's lesbianism and his alcoholism.  I wish this book had addressed that story (that I've read several times in the past few years).  However, I do note that this publication came out before those allegations/rumors started to surface.

Interesting stuff

I am fascinated by Spencer Tracy era. He came from a prominent family and could have become a professional but chose acting. I did not know that he was devoted catholic. I also found it interesting that he never divorced his wife and had a long affair with Katherine Hepburn. This was a fun read.

Brief collection of this man, and the many films he was in. Gave some tidbits we didn’t know. Overall a good account of this movie giant.
